Just one of them. It is a 2" 50 grit (green) Roloc disc. You also will need the Roloc 2" adapter if you do not have it already. These bristle discs do last a long time though.

Is this product used with a regular grinder?

These bristle discs come in different sizes, as well as different grits. They come in 2",3" and 4 1/2" The 2" ones shown here, attach to a roloc adapter that ends in a 1/4" shaft. It is intended to be used in a die grinder which come straight or right angle. The large 4 1/2" discs are intended for use in a regular right angle grinder. They are also made in wheel form for use on a bench grinder. BTW the roloc adapters also accept Scotch Brite pads of various grits. These are expensive; the 4 1/2 ones are REALLY expensive

Do you recommend using these for carbon buildup on piston heads?

Maybe use one of the the higher grit ones yes. They work quite well. Used one to clean the heads on our explorer when we rebuilt the engine just don't dig into and put a lot of pressure on it let the bristles do the work

Looking for something to scuff between layers of fiberglass and epoxy on a boat, would this be easier than by hand or a orbital sander?

These guys are pretty small so think about surface area. Personally I tried work bigger than 2 square feet and eventually moved to other tools

Best product for taking them hard pesky gaskets that stick on anything. Comes right off without shaving any material you are trying to work on. Works great but material wears out fast, normal. Use when really needed.
