Panacea Floral Tape Value Pack 3/Pkg-Green

I bought this product from a local JoAnn craft store for a project for my son's teacher. The project called for green floral tape to wrap a fake flower stem around a ballpoint pen and this was the only product I could find. After wrapping the pen I felt that the tape was still incredibly "tacky" to the touch and am not sure it would be pleasant to hold while writing with the pen. I haven't worked with this stuff before so, for all I know, it may "dry" out some in the next few days and be OK. I suppose I will wait it out and see... and possibly look for something better in the meantime. I would prefer something sticky on one side but smooth and dry on the other. Is there such a product out there???

Item was exactly as advertised. Other reviewers conplain of it not being sticky- they have no idea what theyre talking about: its floral tape! The stickiniess is activated when you stretch it.

I hate to give out bad reviews...in fact, I rarely do. This time, however, I feel I have no choice. This was the first floral tape I have bought online. Since I received it, I've been afraid to buy any other floral tape without being able to hold it in my hands before purchase. I go through *a lot* of floral tape, and thought this was a decent price. Well, it ended up being a 100% waste of money...and more than that in time. I didn't open the package until a few weeks after it came, and it was the only floral tape I had, as I'd run out of my regular tape (Hobby Lobby...my fave). When I went to wrap my stems, the stuff wouldn't stick. It was like paper...I would equate it to green paper ribbon. It even fell right off its roll. All 3 rolls were like this...totally useless to me, which upset me quite a bit. At the time I was in a hurry and had nothing else. I have ended up going with my old standard...and am still afraid to buy tape online. I read the other review about it being too sticky...I wonder if maybe their adhesive lots are so varied that one lot of rolls comes out overly sticky, and the next comes out not at all sticky?

Perfect just what I need for the bridal bouquets.

Used this tape for wedding flowers. It definitely doesn't work as well as other tapes I've bought from floral supply stores. It was difficult to get a solid long strip from these. They kept breaking/peeling off in bits or half the strip would stay on the roll and the other half would peel up, which was frustrating while trying to finish up a job of 13 bouquets and 16 boutonnieres.

No stick at all... I'm guessing there are good 'batches' and bad 'batches' or something, and I certainly got a bad one. No stick, no matter how much you stretch it, and I work in a flower shop, so I do know what I'm talking about. If you absolutely HAD to use this brand, I'd only get it one roll at a time so at least you won't have as big a loss if it's not sticky.
