Heavy drinking in my twenties and thirties has left me with broken capillaries across my face. My complexion is paying for it now that I'm in my sixties, with a reddish tinge under my natural caramel brown coloring that doesn't respond well to typical foundations alone. This product has been a real salvation! The green in this primer is dark enough to counteract my ruddy coloring without my having to use foundation at all! And feels silky smooth during application and leaves the skin feeling petal soft! It's hard keeping my hands off my face during the day. The stuff is amazing.

This is my go to primer for rosacea. Does not completely cover the redness but gives a nice evenness to my face to hold foundation in place. All day, mix my pencil liner and brow glide smoothly. Do note That , if applied to eyelids , it will make your eye shadow darker

I got this e.l.f. green Face Primer because after using up two bottles of IL MAKIAGE, I just couldn't justify the expense for a third one. It's an awesome value and glides on smoothly. It cancels out redness just like the pricey stuff, even though its tone is slightly more yellow than the "cooler" tone found in the other kind. As much as I like it, I'll try a couple of other formulas before committing "for life" as they say. It just doesn't make sense for me to drop $$$$$ on face - stuff when I can have good results for $, or $$.

It didn't work for me. 1st, the color correction was minimal. 2nd, if I used it in the amount recommended, it rolled up/peeled under my makeup. It did feel really nice on my skin, but it isn't what I wanted or needed. I gave it 3 stars because it probably is as advertised and it felt nice.

Love the feel of it on my skin. Not sure about redness reduction but definitely doesn’t hurt. Wish it had an spf factor.
