Easy to use and works well. But you will need other tools.
Good addition to some other tools I have. Inexpensive kit that worked well on a 20 year old Gucci watch, I used one of the pry tools and the vice to hold the watch. It takes a bit of confidence, I used the cloth to protect the glass face and placed it in the vice and gently tightened it. Using the pry tool I worked around the back plate of the watch, after some time it popped off to expose the inside. Changing the battery was easy with the use of tweezers, that are not supplied with this kit. Getting the back cover on again is easy with a cover press and I recommend getting one on Amazon as it will save a lot of frustration. Overall a good kit that I have now used to on several watches and also changed the nose pieces on a pair of glasses with the screwdriver, so very useful. I would recommend a few extra tools for watch battery change though, you will need: 1. Magnifying glasses (available on Amazon) 2. Tweezers 3. Watch back cover press (also available on Amazon)

It's a great set for replacing your watch battery.
The shops around me charge 40+ dollars to change the battery out. So I was sick of paying that price for a simple battery replacement and it worked like a charm. The vice for the watch has multiple openings for the dial turners and fits snug(Don't over tighten). The gripping tool to actually remove the backplate doesn't have a locking mechanism, but if you hold it firmly and twist, it will open easily. The tool to open the backplate cost around 10 dollars on it's own. This set comes with a nice pair of tweezers, multiple micro screw heads for the screw kit, and a nice zip up carry bag that holds everything. I haven't used it for removing or adjusting links, but it has the tools for that as well and a mini pry bar if needed. Purchasing 2 new batteries for my watch cost 3 dollars, combined with this, and I still saved over 10 dollars and never have to take it to the store again. Worth every penny people.

A nice set of tools, but screwdrivers may not be fine enough
I ordered this tool set for replacing the capacitor on a Seiko Kinetic watch. This is very delicate work, and significantly more difficult than replacing a regular watch battery. The watch holder (like a small clamp for the watch body), watch band removal tool, and watch case back removal tool all worked well even though I needed to use a good bit of force to unscrew the back of my watch. The tweezers have sharp points and are very precise, but they are not insulated so they could potentially short out a battery or capacitor. (I opted not to use the tweezers to handle the capacitor, to be safe.) The brush was handy for moving accumulated lint & dust. A small instruction sheet describes the function of each tool. The problems I had were with the screwdrivers. Although the tips fit into the handle just fine, I found that the points weren't sharp enough to fit in the tiny slots of the screw heads on my watch. I ended up using a different set of screwdrivers which still needed to be sharpened and shaped a bit on a sharpening stone to get them to work. Overall, this kit is a good value. I didn't try sharpening the screwdriver tips from the kit, but some sharpening probably would have made them work for my repair job.

Great Tool Set
I have never changed watch batteries but I also do everything myself. I have 3 watches with dead batteries so I took to Amazon to find a set of tools to take these watches apart. I found this simple and cheap looking set and figured I would make it work. It did work! It worked really well and the price is cheap but the tools are not. I did the work in a few minutes while sitting on my couch while, sadly, my wife is watching Gilmore Ladies. It also has a little carrying case to keep all the tools together which I love so I can store and keep track of this stuff.

Great for watches and other jewelry
My husband got so excited when he saw this kit. He has a watch that needed a link taken out. He said it was the fastest and easiest he's ever done it. I have a few pieces of jewelry that I'm going to sit down and work on using these tools. I had been setting them aside to take to a jeweler but think I can fix them myself now. And it didn't hurt that the price was great.

Its a very good kit for the money
honestly, this is an inexpensive kit, but it's fully functional and did EXACTLY what I needed. I had 12 watches that needed new batteries and at 25 buck a watch at the jeweler that was going to be some $$$. so I got this set and some batteries and did them myself......in about an hour. I didn't even need every tool in the kit. Its a very good kit for the money .

read below before choosing a kit: this kit needs 2 more essential tools
before you order a kit, be sure to read below and you may wish to choose one that includes more tools. I ordered this to change batteries in a few watches. I usually would just drop off watch and have pro do it and pick it up but actually that's kind of a pain due to location and parking of the closest place to me so I decided to see how hard it was. I think certain watches are different but mine are pretty straight forward. I youtubed the how to after I got this "kit" and the first instrument shown which i a little hook type tool, this kit did not have. sure enough one of my watches needs that one. well, i had to get inside to see which batteries to get and so when ordering batteries for other 2, i just ordered the little tool separately b/c it had one day delivery options and a whole new kit did not. It also does not have a little tweezers which i have found is pretty essential when removing the small battery so that other components are not damaged. the tweezers should be sort of pointed at the ends for delicate maneuvers. I was able to work w/a tweezers i had at home but it really should include that. to hold small screws and put back after, tweezers are needed. fingers just don't work as well. Since i already ordered the other little tool separately, i will just add that to the little carrying bag that came w/this kit. I won't send back at this point b/c w/that i pretty much have what would be needed again for battery replacement in the future. it does have watch case opener and other devices that my watches don't need but never know what would be needed in the future so still a good thing. it has a nice little zip bag for storage. the bag is very thin w/no padding or would not protect the tools but is a great way to store all of the little pieces. I usually would have reached for a ziplock for the small tools for storage so to have a bag come with the kit is a very nice feature. the idea of having a kit for DIY is a great one time investment. however if I was in the buying market again, I would find a kit that had the really needed 2 other tools instead of having to get separately.

Excellent product . It pays for itself after a couple of use
Excellent quality product with all the tools you need to change batteries for most of the watches you have. We have about 15 watches within our family and atleast 3 of the watches will by lying unused as they would have run out of batteries at the same time. I recently bought this product and changed about 5 watches . I have 20 yr Bulova watch which runs out of battery after every 15 months and I used to pay almost $15 + for each battery change. This product pays for itself after changing a battery of just this watch. Battery for most of the watches cost for about $2 a piece. There are a lot of videos on youtube for reference if you have never replaced a watch battery before. It is very easy to use
