Reviewed May 20- 2018 I just assembled my Traxion2-230 and found myself very impressed with it. Assembly was incredibly simple, requiring only one tool, a T40 Torx head to secure the wheels to the base. The seat is very comfortable and the larger wheels seemed to roll across a shop floor with less effort than the smaller wheels found on other units by different manufacturers. I am 6'4" & 245 pounds and found that this unit was able to handle my weight with ease. I was slightly apprehensive about buying this unit after reading other reviews talk about the under seat tool tray being cheap. Fact is, it is rather thin plastic. But, I don't see it deterring from the value in any way. The tray still performs as designed, it just feel cheap. Aside from that, nothing about the unit feels cheap in any way. This is a well engineered product. I purchased it as a mobility device for my recovery from a fractured heel bone. The large 5" castor wheels roll extremely smoothly, especially over carpet, unlike other stools that have small casters and just "dig in". And it whizzes across an epoxy garage floor. Heads up though, as the company is in the process of correcting the Amazon description on adjustability. The stool can only be extended up to 17.5", not the 24" stated in the description. I mentioned this error to Traxion via their website and politely told them why the 24" height was important for my situation. Even though I am not using the product as intended by Traxion, their customer service, without me asking, contacted their manager and they soon sent me a compatible replacement pneumatic cylinder from another product that does elevate to 24" which aids me tremendously for lateral mobility, etc. Customer service doesn't get better than that! I have vehicles ranging from low slung sports cars to SUVs, so this stool will get a workout when I finally heal and can go after car maintenance and repairs again. It will get a lot of use. Bottom line.....great product and absolute top notch customer service. I highly recommend this product and this company. And that is coming from a self proclaimed "consumer from hell"!

Came with a hole in the covering of seat but I kept it. One of the best seats I've ever used. No fear of tip over. Very comfortable to sit on for hours and no pain. Would buy again. I've had this for 3 years so far.

Husband love this ... easy to put together ... quality is very good ... seat is very comfortable ... rolls around nicely.

This product was used to do carpentry work when we needed to be closer to the ground. We also have a low crawlspace (approx. 5 ' tall) that we used it for when examining the insulation and doing some ductwork repair. Overall it's easy to assemble, comfortable and allows accessibility. It is a back saver when you are doing furniture painting & repair. The handy tray allows you to store tools as you move around. Great product.

Best part is the comfortable seat and excellent customer service. I bought this for my mom to use while doing her laundry, she’s 79 and has a hard time bending over to get clothes from her dryer. This chair is perfect for her to reach into the dryer and move around her laundry room. Thank you for making life easier for my mother! Chair arrived quickly, but the seat was damaged, I contacted the seller and they sent a replacement immediately. Highly recommend this chair!

Let me preface this by saying if it were priced like a rolling stool, it would get 5 stars. But it’s more than some leather office chairs. And for $100 I expect more. The first one I ordered seemed ok. Apart from the chinsy “spinning gear tray” (really it was just cheaper to not attach it, great for when it’s full of tools and you bump it) it was a good stool. Very comfy. But when assembling it I noticed that if I properly torqued the wheels (with a torx screw - why??) the frame started to distort. So I tightened them as much as I could without ruining it. That last about 2 weeks. Maybe 4 hours of use. Then one fell off. And when it fell off the threads got ruined. So I ordered a replacement. This time I decided to red loctite them AND properly tighten them. Then the frame distorted so bad (very little torque!) that the bottom hex portion won’t stay seated. I’m expecting I’ll have to return this one as well. For a $50 stool it would be great :(

Chair is sturdy, rolls well. Purchased for use in the garage, but my 3 year old daughter says that it is her new chair! Product support is excellent. I thought one of the packing pieces was to be used on the chair, but customer service assisted me greatly.

We ordered this rolling seat to get around in our crawl space. The concrete has some rough areas and the large wheels move across these areas effortlessly. The large padded seat is very comfortable.

Calidad que deja mucho que desear, las ruedas son baratas y de mal calidad. Confuso al armar, instrucciones nada claras. Plastico de mala calidad. No lo recomiendo. Es seguro en la parte de abajo se cae. Se desarma en la medida que se le da uso.

Got one for Christmas and its a lot more comfortable and stable then other cheap stools. Bottom tray is quite large though.

Best computer chair on the market!

Easy to assemble in spite of lousy directions. Very comfortable and large wheels make it easy to use in the shop. I use it in my wood shop.
