Just keep in mind that this is at base and you won’t have any unrealistic expectation around what it does. That being said this translates on the fly incredibly quickly inside of its app and vocally. I think the only thing that would make it better is if it could function offline - But then I imagine the price will be much more because of the massive amount of memory it would need for so many languages!

They should be embarrassed about their app not working for newer phones. And my phone is not even that new.

When we go to Rome, I plan to use it. But for now, the size is great, the weight is good, doesn’t feel cheap. I am pleased with this purchase. We did practice speaking into the device and it is great loved it.

I purchased this product after having to return a previous product. I’m quite happy with its ease of operation, accuracy (English /Chinese), speed, and sleek design. It will be a big aide during my future trips to China and in communicating with my wife (Chinese).

I disliked the false advertisement on this device stating it translates 52 languages. This device does not translate the amount of languages specified! They are listed but not all translated. I had a replacement sent and they both have the exact same problem with the same languages (i.e., English- Australia, Canada, Ghana, United Kingdom, India, Ireland, Kenya, New Zealand, Nigeria, Philippines, South Africa, Tanzania are all of the English that do not work. Then there's Basque, Galician, Zulu, Lithuania, Slovenian, Bulgarian, Hebrew, Persian, and Bengali that does not work on either device; the one I purchased nor the replacement. The main reason I purchased this device was for the Bengali language, each time I try it on either device, it gives me a Network Error. There isn't any place listed that will show me how to fix this network error problem or how to trouble shoot which is extremely disappointing!

I never was able to find the app to make it work. Unfortunately I bought it too early for my trip to Europe to return it.

The device is ok but not worth your money. It's almost as good as a app on your phone. Might as well just get an app on your phone. It takes forever to Translate and sometimes you have a hard time connecting it. Do not buy. Save your money.
