Ego 18" chainsaw owners - get this bar. It's a gamechanger. No more loose chains. You will have to transfer the little bar piece from the original bar to this one but after that, you can use the chain for a very long time provided you can sharpen the chain when needed.

Bought this for my Poulan, which is my general go to around the farm. Factory bar was throwing chains like confetti, regardless of age of chain. No problems since this bar installed. I use my saws a few hours a month. Not a logger by any means, but work them hard as a farmer/ landowner. Great bar.

replaces the Craftsman 42cc with the adjustment in the bar perfectly… originally tried ordering this bar from Sears parts and they shipped me 2 mower deck parts (?!) with the correct part # for the bar printed On the box and the purchase order… DO NOT order anything from Sears … their system is a HOT MESS. And you can’t get hold of anyone to talk to. I sent the incorrect mower parts back, they sent me confirmation of receipt and never refunded the Money AND I lost the shipping $ I paid for on the original order as well. Had to make a claim with my bank and they temporarily refunded the money and they are dealing with Sears. Wish I had found this seller listing first. If you need this, order it,good price, free shipping,and it came faster than expected, too.

Fit great!! Works like the original!!
My husband needed to replace the bar on his chain saw that is a Craftsman product and since we don’t have Sears stores around us anymore, we went to Amazon for a replacement. It was the best value around!!

Replaced original just fine.
This bar has the built in adjuster that my Craftsman came with. Can’t find these locally since those bars are made for saws that have the adjuster built into the side covers. My saw does not have that so you have to use this bar.
