Only food that doesn't upset my border collie, just expensive.
I have a three year old, 24KG male border collie who's always struggled a bit with his digestion. We've tried more than 10 different brands of dog food over 3 years, dried, wet and raw. We were making some headway with Naturo wet trays but it was hit and miss with flavours and digestive results. Our vet didn't find any issues with grains or other allergies, just generally sensitivity. Forthglade was an emergency purchase originally when the supermarkets suddenly ran out of stock of others. After the third day of Forthglade our collie had completely settled down and happily munches through a 2/3 tray per meal with a couple of small scoops of Morrisons natural dried sprinkled on top. Along with the slow feeder bowl we got him meal times have become one of the highlights of the day rather than dread. He's full of energy at the right times, sleeps well, no nasty emanating smells (except fishy breath on the salmon packs). The only downside... the cost. When we first bought Forthglade at the beginning of the year I paid £6.50 on offer (£1.75 off) from the local pet store. Bought on here for £15 for 12 but the price just keeps climbing and any discounts seem cancelled out by the price increases and push towards subscription orders. Today it's £22. Asda have it at £1.25 a tray on offer but no Asda for 18 miles.

Great Quality, Healthy Ingredients, My Dog Loves It
The Forthglade wet dog food variety pack has been a big hit with my dog, the recipes look wholesome and smell fresh. I like that the ingredients are natural and clearly listed, and the tray size is perfect for portioning meals. My dog eats it eagerly every time, and it’s been gentle on digestion, I’ll definitely keep buying this.

Our dogs loved it, couldn't get enough
I'm always a bit nervous of trying new foods like this on our dogs as they can be picky eaters. No such trouble this time. Now, to be honest I was a tad disappointed when I opened the box and saw 12 trays of what looked (to me) like brown sludge. I admit, I was not impressed. But, I've paid for it, the dogs are going to get it. So, opened the first tray and it seemed kind of slimy too. Anyway, can't worry about that, tipped it into the bowl and chopped it up, adding in a mixer to get them something to crunch on as well. The dogs took a sniff, gave me a "whatchoo feeding us now?" look, and tentatively tried a bit. That first lick, whatever it was, they loved it and wolfed down the rest like there's no tomorrow. So, I guess I'm not such a good judge of what looks tasty after all. They have had another different flavour this evening, and that disappeared just as quickly. Now, we can tell when the dogs have enjoyed their food, or when it's just "meh, hungry.." They both charge into the living room and start sliding around on the carpet, wiping their noses on whatever gets in the way and squirming on their backs with little grunts of pleasure, and so it was, for almost ten minutes. Now these aren't small dogs, they're medium sized Australian shepherds, so two of them squirming around the floor takes up a fair amount of space. So, while I might have thought this looked like sludge, the dogs disagreed with me most enthusiastically, and awarded this food with their highest praise. So, I guess I will be buying it again, maybe a different set of flavours next time. So, thank you Forthglade, you have two very happy fans in my house.

Dog likes it, so I do too!!!
The dog likes this stuff and the offer made it slightly cheaper than Sainsbury's and Tesco. I originally bought this much to take with us on holiday. But after getting him used to it, I needed more so took out a subscription. A shame they don't make vegetarian version for trips abroad.

Damage to contents
The outside of the box is undamaged, but one of the trays has leaked into the inside of the box, with no obvious reason why.

Not for my dogs 🐶
So disappointed, both my dogs turned their noses up at this food, granted one of them is a fussy little s*d that I haven’t found any dog food he likes (bakers whirles bacon treats get him a bit excited lol) so I’ll have to continue my search but I’ll only buy small amounts next time can’t afford the waste. But got this for a good price

Great dog food
Have 2 dogs, one that has seizures so changed to a little kibble and this food. Has brought back the dogs excitement for food and hoping it’ll help reduce any potential seizures (along with medication) that kibble might bring
