Motul 5100-Ester 10w50 Syn Blend, 1 Gallon

I have been riding for 40 years. Here is a picture of my first street bike.I have tried every oil under the sun. The motul is great. It is a good value and reduces engine noise. I do change my oil as recommended or even earlier then most riders,That being said the oil color still was clean.. I will buy Motul again.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have been riding for almost 50 years and have used various oils in that time. In my personal opinion, Motul 5100 and 7100 oils are the best out there for motorcycles. Provides my cycles with year round protection, quick starts, smooth shifting, and quieter engine noise.

Everybody has a brand that they like and this is mine. I like that it comes with a built in spout which helps when pouring at an awkward angle. Also the oil has a sweet smell to it which I like because I don’t smell like motor oil after handling it. I can usually find a good deal on this stuff when it’s time to change my bikes oil. On top of that my bike runs great with this oil so I’m happy with it.

Worth the cost for the right stuff

Oil quality seems to be good, I notice that motorcycle oil in general is high priced. This price is too high, but I’m not going to chance ruining a new motorcycle with cheap oil. Not this guy! Remember to check your manufacturers recommendations as engines come in all shapes and sizes. The mechanical tolerances, lubrication, heat disposition, noise reduction, and ultimately the long term performance of this oil sold me.

I like this oil for one it is delivered to me and second is the viscosity holds up really well in my motorcycle. I run it hard and it hasn't failed yet. Just remember to put the drain plug back in before filling and it will go far past the usual mileage change and still look new.

Seems to be good oil for high revs and no issues, a little on the pricey side but have since changed to Shell and will use this in the future if needed.

If you have an older car that was not designed for Synthetic Oil this Ester base oil is perfect. I use it in my Triumph Legend TT Motorcycle.

Works good! Not to expensive but a good overall oil.
