I was very pleased with the Fluance speakers that I purchased.

It is not a surround sound system.
These are surround sound speakers to add to a surround sound system, but not a system. The opening line is misleading for the novice. It does not have a remote, but it says it does in the details. You have to turn the bass speaker around to see the controls which also have no explanation. Didn’t even come with wires and no explanation where to get anything.

This speaker system has been such a great experience for us, especially when watching movies. You really get to feel the difference in sound quality. It was easy to set up and use as well, besides trying to sync it to a receiver, but once you figure it out, it's smooth sailing from there.

They're beautiful and easy to connect, but it never worked. I don't know if it's a compatibility problem, but I tried it with 2 different amplifiers, and no results, And yes, I followed the manual, did all recommandations, and searched a solution on forums and problems resolutions, with Fluance forums, Toshiba, nothing ever worked. So, they're going into storage. Hundred of dollars. Thank you for that...

I decided to try these out with an older (2019) receiver a friend gave me as I wasn't sure i wanted to go back into the rabbit hole that is home theater and am glad I did. The soundbar now sits in the bedroom as no soundbar is comparable to the soundstage separate speakers can provide. My room is on the small to medium size so everything sounds pretty great in movies and video gaming. The only recommendation of this set would be get the 5.0 version and a better sub. The 10" Fluance sub is pretty middling. It blends in fine with the speakers, just doesn't provide the oomph other subs provide. For the sub I give this setup a 4/5

Just been using them for a few days but so far they sound great. excellent.

This set of speakers is in a small den room and paired with a Denon s960H receiver. They sound incredible and look nice and stealthy. Great Canadian brand.
