Great value replacement prop with increased performance
I replaced a 3 blade Volvo Penta prop with this 4 blade Nemesis, using the proper hub kit. My boat (a 2008 Glastron GT with a 5.0 GL) had a 19 pitch prop and it was over revving just a bit. I ended up using the 19 pitch Nemesis and it dropped about 200 rpm (which is what I was after). Better hole shot and plane speed. It's just a few MPH slower than the 3 blade. Over all, it's been great.

Nemesis 4 blade 14” x 19” pitch
Make sure you get the hub kit for this prop sold separately! I own a 2001 Bayliner Capri 2150, a 3,000 lb 21 foot boat bow rider with a 5.0 L MerCruiser Alpha One stern drive with a 1.62 gear ratio lower unit. We like to take the kids tubing, so acceleration is important to me. I was currently running a quicksilver black diamond aluminum 15.5 inch three blade prop with a 19 inch pitch. We would typically load the boat with a 35 gallon tank of gas, 3 adults with 3 kids, food, cooler, and gear coming in with the gross weight of appoximately 4,361 lbs. When I was pulling a 3 person tube the bow would come up real high and take a minute to get on the plane. The boat would want to plane at about 23 miles an hour but my tube riders liked it closer to 20 miles an hour so i had to keep adjusting throttle to balance speed. My top speed was around 46 miles an hour. I switched to the nemesis 14“ x 19“ pitch 4 blade prop. Took it out today, and I was immediately satisfied with how it shot out of the hole! The acceleration felt good. It quickly climbed to top speed of 42 mph at 4.200 rpm when trimmed perfect. I backed it down and could maintain plane as low 16 mph! The bite the prop has gives me way more control and traction though the entire throttle only giving up 4 mph of top speed compared to the 3 blade prop. The recommended wide open throttle of my engine is 4,500 to 5,000 rpm max. So I feel like if I had a lighter load I may get that range, but today I was running a 4,000 lb gross weight with people and gear included. My max rpm was 4,200 rpm at 42 mph. Overall I’m super happy with the performance of this prop, definitely worth the upgrade! I hope this review helps.

Good Quicksilver prop!
I replaced the original 3 blade prop after doing a lot of research about the HP , pitch , diameter etc to be the best match for our boat pulling a wakeboard. This works great for out of the hole, you lose a little top end speed, but we didn't care since we're mostly running 20-25 MPH. Nice OEM prop.

Awesome Prop for Hole shot and Acceleration and Pulling Toys ! You will love it !
Great Product ..what do expect from Mercury Marine . So I listened to all the hype Look on uTube on the Prop also named Spitfire . It does what it intended to do faster acceleration and hole shot . I would estimate 20 % faster with 2 people and 30 % faster with 4 people . Plus it will hold a wake at 2500 RPM on our boat at 22mph . So when it gets rough its nice to be able to plane and think of the fuel savings . Our Boat with do 50 MPH with a 3 blade Enteria 19 inch at 4500 RPM buts its a $600 prop and this prop will out accelerate it . Top speed is 47MPH at 4750RPM 14x19 NEMESIS with this prop . But we just cruise and do wakeboard and pull tubes . We have a Crownline 21SS with a 4.3 TKS Mercrusier 190 HP motor for reference . Highly recommend this prop and Amazon has a great Price ! ..Also this prop is great for docking and getting in tight corners at a Marina or in cross wakes or loading your boat on your trailer because with the 4 Blades it tracks very true . If you get this prop ..do yourself a favor to make sure everyone is seated because this prop has a lot of bite .

Good value for the price
This prop fit my 1999 Alpha One, Gen One, 5.7 liter Mercruiser out drive perfectly. (21’ SeaRay BR Select Boat). I replaced a 3 blade 19” prop with the 4 blade 19” and it operated as advertised. Much faster to get on plane with less bow rise…Better handling in rough water…Stays on plane at somewhat lower speed. I did not experience significant loss, if any, of top end speed and stayed within WOT RPM range. I’ve not tried the prop yanking skiers yet but with the way it has operated so far I believe it will get multiple skiers on slaloms up much easier. I really like this prop for the money.

Great prop for working boat.
Was exactly what I needed for my Trophy fishing boat. The little diesel needs to keep its RPMs up to not overload when I have a lot of gear or people loaded up. Changed to this prop and it works great now. Lost a little top speed, but the engine is much happier. Seems well built and paint coating is good.

Great propeller but I went to low on pitch
Switched from 3 blade 14.5x19p to this 4 blade 14x17p Nemesis on a 21' Starcraft deck boat with 5.7L Mercrusier. Improved takeoff and made planning out easier with a load. Boat holds up to 12 and the 3 blade took forever to get going loaded. This greatly improved our tubing and cruising without having to go full throttle. Only drawback was it took 8-10 mph off of top speed and revved at 4800 3/4 throttle. Boat is 3800 lbs. so going to try the 19p to bring rpm down and go WOT. This would do great on a lighter, smaller engine boat.

Maximum Performance Possible (from aluminum)
After extensive research on selecting the best prop for me and trying several props, I felt like this would be the maximum performance I could achieve out of any aluminum prop. Acceleration: Out of the hole, this thing is so explosive that I had to have my wife turn to down to half the power of what she used to when pulling me up skiing. It was literally way too much power at full throttle and would yank the handle out of my hand! Top speed- potentially lost 1mph (if any) from my maximum speed compared to a 3 blade of the same pitch/size- minimal effect on my top speed overall. Planning: very quickly, faster than a 3 blade or same pitch/size. One last note- when going through a no-wake, the boat goes much faster at the lowest rpm's possible but doesn't seem to make much more wake, it's kind of cool, we often pass by others when going under bridges and they have a puzzled look like "how is he not making a wake and going so fast?" For reference, our boat is a 2006 Bayliner 225BR with a Mercruiser 5.0 V8 325HP. I noticed the mercruiser website recommends this prop for boats under 200HP only for some reason, but works fine for us.

Mercruiser 3l WOT was too high with the 21 pitch for high speed. But excellent for skiing and wakeboarding. No spin out on corners and excellent acceleration with the 4 blade. Bought a second with a 23 pitch and gained 7mph top end and WOT is now dead on with manual. Perfect for general purpose prop.
