Excellent value for the money!
Works perfect as described. I catch and release. I don't like killing animals and this has saved many many from death and glue traps. I have caught little ones in this trap that are less than 2 inches Extremely easy to setup. Easy to clean. Durable and made to last! The only noise is when I hear it close which isn't loud but I know when I hear it I've caught a mouse.

Works great!!
We got this for a field mouse we saw in basement. Caught it 1st night! Trap worked great, but we did put cheese in trap so mouse could have some food while trapped. The way the trap works the captured mouse never gets the food...which seems mean! It was easy to let him go. Trap is amazing, highly recommend! Great experience for kids as well.

Simple, clean, easy and effective
We had a mouse invasion of our home while we were away for several weeks. Using Jif peanut butter in the bait door of two of the traps, we successfully captured five, very cute little mice, one after another, and deported them far away from any human homes. Just clean the traps thoroughly between each capture so the next mouse smells the bait and nothing else. Highly recommended!

Quick and effective, easy to use
So I thought I had maybe 1 or 2, thus trap caught 6 over a few nights, I only used a little bit of wet cat food for bait and it worked perfectly, I released them, and am wondering if the same little buggers are coming back in, I just dont know from where. Ive only had a problem with 2 little field mice years ago so this is a little crazy to me to catch so many. My only issue is after catching them, one of the traps broke? It doesn't stay open anymore and they seem to not go in the second one I put out. All and all though, they worked immediately and did the job.

Easy to use, safe around kids and dogs, effective
These are great! Easy to use and figure out how to open and close. They seem to have the right amount of sensitivity to catch mice (it has been working in our home). I like that I don’t have to worry about my toddler or my dog getting hurt by the trap! I would buy this again if I needed more!

Works great!
We just got four of these traps today and let me tell you they work great! Three mice in as many hours and it was so easy to move them into a tall trash can until we can move them away from people. No mice are injured and the shape of this trap actually lends itself to keeping them calm. Just small enough to feel cozy, just big enough that they don't appear to feel particularly trapped. I had just about given up all hope on finding a truly humane trap, but this one has definitely delivered! I personally hate killing things, but living in the woods I've been forced to resort to that with mice more than once. I'm hopeful that finding this product will mean I never have to go that route again. We didn't use the recommended peanut butter because we didn't have any to hand, but we do have Lefaber nutriberries for our birds, so we figured we'd give that a shot. Honestly, I think it may actually work a bit better than peanut butter would have. The nutriberries add just enough weight to reduce the tension on the spring plate and this leaves me no doubt that the trap is able to catch even the smallest of mice (perfect for us because our colony appears to be mostly youngsters). It does make it harder to set the traps, so it's best to set the loaded trap down before you set the door, but the mice go bananas for nutriberries. My husband actually just found a fourth mouse caught while I've been typing this! The only downside to using them is that if you have a little pig who just doesn't care and shreds the nutriberries, the pieces can get stuck between flaps and make it so you can't reset the door. I solved this by running the trap under my sink faucet to dislodge the seeds. It does make some fantastic bait and if humane is truly your goal, nutriberries are actually pretty dang healthy for the little guys. If you're gonna evict them from your nice, warm home, it's not a terrible idea to give them a decent meal first. As far as the trap itself, it does feel well constructed. The plastic is a bit thin as others have commented, but after playing with the mechanism it's easy to see that a thicker construction would actually reduce the efficacy of the trap. I would still avoid dropping one of these as I don't think they'd survive much of a fall. I would also not recommend attempting to wedge them in anywhere they don't properly fit as they are likely to crack under pressure. That being said, for what they are, what they do, and how effective they've shown themselves to be in just the few hours I've had them out, they are a fantastic product and well priced. I'll update my review if I run into any issues, but I currently see myself buying more than the four I've started with.

Single use (at least for me!)
The trap was very easy to use. I put out two traps in our attic and caught a mouse in each one the first night. Since they were caught overnight, I didn’t release them until the next morning. Both of them mice were alive and I was able to release them with no problem. However, when I started to clean the traps and reset them, I noticed that the trap door would not latch in either one of them. The mice had chewed off the hooks in both of traps that hold the door in place. Again, they worked great and were easy to use, but essentially they were a disposable trap because they couldn’t be used a second time. Maybe if I had gotten to the mice sooner they wouldn’t have had time to chew off the door hook.

Works great for a little while
These do work for catching mice, however after catching and trapping 33 of those little buggers, the plastic started to wear out. Now it only works some the time. Also, sometimes the dumb mouse will get its tail caught in the trap door, which made me a little sad. In short, these are great if you have a small mouse problem, but if you’ve got 33 running around, maybe call an exterminator instead.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT, I HAD DEEP GOLF BALL SIZED HOLES IN GARDEN, SO SUSPECTED SOMETHING SMALL. I BOUGHT THESE, BAITED WITH CHEESE, AND CAUGHT 2 FIELD MICE OVERNIGHT. I THEN CAUGHT 1 MORE NEXT NIGHT. EASY TO LET GO, USING THE BACK DOOR. THE NEXT NIGHT ONE TRAP HAD TRIPPED, DOOR WAS SHUT, AND BAIT HAD GONE. TRAP WAS EMPTY, BUT I NOTICED THE BACK DOOR, (WHICH SLIDES DOWN IN RUNNERS), WAS RAISED ABOUT HALF AN INCH, SO THIS ONE HAD ESCAPED. I HAVE NOW RESET THE TRAP, BUT USED A SMALL ELASTIC BAND TO HOLD BACK DOOR IN PLACE. STILL WORTH THE MONEY IN MY OPINION, AND EASY TO USE AND CLEAN.

Ideal doesn’t harm the mouse and set them free

Absolutely brilliant. Mouse took the bait and got trapped in cage. It was released in the woods so didn't take it's life.
