FEEL THE POWER!
Finally got a small footprint amp for my DIY ammo can speaker build. I am using it "full range". Install and connections were a breeze. The input sensitivity pot was turned down out of the box...had to turn it up. No big deal. THE GOOD: - Powerful-powerful-powerful (150w RMS x 2 @ 4 ohms) is an understatement. - Clean. I was worried about Class D amplification sounding choppy or weak...this amp is pure butter - Small. Perfect for ammo can builds or where space is limited - Efficient power and power consumption...won't bleed your battery down BOTTOM LINE: I have 40+ years working with amps and speakers and have a "critical ear". This amplifier is a beast of power, clean sounding, and does the job vs amplifier costing 3x as much (and larger Class A/B amps). You'll be surprised how powerful it is and what it can do. UPDATE (23 Sept 2020) - It does run very warm if left on all the time. "Hot" if you are thumping high volume levels. You might consider mounting this amp with good air ventilation and on a surface that won't be impacted by the heat. Still 5/5 stars...it hasn't let me down UPDATE (11 May 2021) - Bought a second one and bridged two of these amps in one of my ammo can builds. TWICE THE POWER! So, now I am running well over 300 watts (RMS) @ 4 ohms. These amps are beasts of power. Get this...using a standard 30-amp fuse and 10 AWG power cables. zero issues. These amps sound great. Again, I thought Class D amps would not produce clean sound, I was wrong

Great quality period
Very surprised for the size, and the cost, its pushing 2 nvx 8in dual 2ohm 650rms in the skar under seat box for a 2013 ford f150 crew, and its slams. The bass is low and flexing windows and clean. Been running hard now for almost a year.

Best amp for the price
This amp is all that, it’s the perfect size and pushes a lot of power while only using 12v perfect for bikes and atv. I got 2 6x9s and 2 3” speakers and it sounds amazing hear music clear over 90mph!!

Burned out in 1.5 years
7/5/2021 Update After 1.5 years, the amp not only failed on me, but also caused a scary, terrible electrical smell. In those 1.5 years, the amp was barely used because of the pandemic. I would say it ran maybe 4 hours, and that would be generous. The amp was installed inside the boat, and the boat itself was stored in my driveway with a cover. The manufacturer’s website had abundant strict language saying they basically wouldn’t do anything in my situation, which leads me to believe this probably happens a lot. Unfortunately, I bought 2 of these. I ended up replacing them both with 2 MTX MUDD100.4, which is basically the same output, and I only paid $225 for them, which is not much more than what the NVX goes for today. Back when I bought the NVX, they were only $150, which seemed to be a bargain. Now that they’re basically the same price as the MTX, you may as well get MTX’s solid reputation. From now on, I’m no longer getting off-brand stereo equipment. They just don’t last. To put it in perspective, I used to have a NON-marine grade JL Audio amp in that same location that lasted 10 years! And it still works except for 1 channel! And that was NON-marine grade! The supposed marine grade NVX lasted just a fraction of that time and completely burned out. Do yourself a favor and spend a few extra bucks today to save yourself from an eventual electrical fire and replacement a year later. —————————————————— Original Review I never heard of NVX before, so I did some research and found that they are a reputable company. YouTube dynos show that they exceed their rated specs, so I went forward and got one to power my Wetsounds REV8’s (bridged to 2 channels). This amp has a really small footprint, which makes mounting in limited spaces very easy. I was skeptical at first when running this at a very low volume and the amp getting really hot to the touch! I would run the speakers at a whisper and it would still be super hot! I did some more research and I saw that amps can run above 130 F and would be considered just fine, yet this temperature would be pretty much unbearable to touch. I also read that small amps will run very hot. Knowing this, I kept with it. Despite the heat this thing generates, I rated this 5 stars because it sounds absolutely spectacular. Previously I had a MBQuart amp powering these speakers, and they would always have a bit of static in the background. With the NVX, static was completely absent, and the REV8’s would sing very loud, but very clear with no distortion. I was so impressed with how they sound, I just ordered a second amp to power my in-boat speakers. I plan to run 2 pairs of speakers in parallel on 2 channels for a 2 ohm load, and another pair on the last 2 channels for a 4 ohm load. They are currently powered by a JL Audio 6 channel amp (one of channels went out), which has the same static that the MB Quart amp had. I’m hoping the NVX will finally rid this for me, and I’m also hoping they’ll make my speakers sound as clear as the REV8’s. Long term reliability is still in the air for me, so I’ll update if I run into any issues. So far though, NVX is now my “go to” amp, and I have owned JL Audio, Kenwood, MB Quart, Rockville, Planet Audio, Cadence, and Profile amps in the past. Their price is near rock bottom, sounds fantastic, has a tiny footprint, and everything I’ve read on them is positive. The big name companies should watch out..

Very nice amp with one very weird terminal connection
I bought the NVX VADM2 amp which is rated at 440w into 2 channels. Huge power for something this small. I have my doubts that it produces anywhere near this amount of power but it is certainly way more than I needed. The size and shape is what was most important to me. I had a small spot under my dash that I wanted in install an amp into and this amp fit the bill. It seems like a high quality product but I found one thing very strange. The terminal block that the speaker wires connect to has the screws that tighten down on the wire facing DOWN. So you must remove the end cap and then hook up the wires before it is installed in its location. After mounting, you can't get a screwdriver in there to tighten them. Weird design choice.

Good compact thumper amp for a mid-level setup
Made crazy waves in the neighborhood for the price haha, I did have some trouble with setting it up but I absolutely chalk it up to user error. Nice sleek finish, neat little remote knob, only gone into protection mode once when playing a certain song on full volume so I'd say it can withstand a lot. Improved my cars sound system quality by 1000x.

High quality and no problems here. Very pleased.
Very pleased. Replaced an Alpine amp with this, and believe it or not, this was way better sound quality. I always had a "ring" around 2khz with the Alpine, this thing is just smooth frequency response and power to spare. I've had one of these installed in one vehicle for over a year now, VERY pleased. I have another one about to go in another car and can't wait to get it hooked up. I also have several NVX speakers now, and those too have provided excellent sound quality and overall value.
