Pugster Blue

I’d bought three of these plants, two white and one blue, last fall, which I knew was risky. They arrived very small and and frail looking. Of course, we had one of our harshest winters, which for desert life, isn’t saying much, but for young plants, it is. I was surprise to see that two of the three made it! However, they were still so small and scraggly, this spring, I decided to go ahead and order another blue and white one to fill, and replace, of them. This spring and summer they have grown and bursted with color! They are huge how, and every day I look out and see butterflies on all three plants. They are strong and sturdy and I’m confident they’ll make it through this weekend to go on for many years!

It came looking slightly pitiful it dropped 6or 7 leaves after I got it out of the box and I wet it and then I left a couple of days and then I planted it and now two weeks later it’s picking up it’s growing I’m very happy. Plants are always a little traumatized by being dug up and mailed so no worries it’s good.

I live in 9b. I purchased several varieties of this same plant. Miss Molly, Ruby Chip, Miss Violet. All planted in and around the same area of my garden. Every other variety beside the pugster white have grown and done well. I have two of these, both are poor performers. Haven’t completely died, barely hanging on. No growth. I would not buy again the pugster white.

This plant arrived very healthy, a wonderful size, transplanted beautifully and is already growing and looking strong! I am very happy woth the quality of this and Def would order more plants in the future from this company. One of the best online plants I've gotten off Amazon.

My plant seller was P&W. I never received plants to my memory from them before these three arrivals. The plants arrived in cardboard boxes on my outside front steps. I do have two enclosed porches ! The rain poured that day and the plant boxes were soaked & the dirt inside was all over when the boxes were opened. The one plant had all broken branches ! I was disgusted !! I accepted the two other plants but said NO to the broken one as you can see in the picture. No care was given to wrapping or delivery placement. I received from other companies & never received this mess. The price was very reasonable but considering the condition of the plants I would not make this choice again but go elsewhere. The availability was there for me but the follow thru was not in my opinion. The second plant delivered was beautiful ! Thank you.

My butterfly bush arrived 2 days earlier than expected! The box was packed so the plant was protected and upright. My butterfly bush is beautiful and healthy!!! The size was bigger than I anticipated just needed a drink of water when I got it out of the package. I am placing another order for an additional plant after seeing how well the plant was packaged and delivered.

Ordered four plants at about $25 each, and the box arrived today. One of the boxes was UPSIDE DOWN in the shipping box. I expect this happened during packaging. They wedge these plants in pretty tight, so I don't think it happened during shipping (although, I admit, stranger things have happened). Still, an upside down plant was the LAST thing I expected. Frankly, although it still looks green now, I don't expect it to survive. The other three look great. I took two pictures of the topsy-turvy butterfly bush, and two pictures of a good one for comparison. I ordered these because they were on sale. Maybe I should have just gotten the 'not on sale' ones... As it turns out, the price will probably end up being the same, because the upside down one is probably going to die. I would definitely not get these for a gift, it would be terrible to have it arrive at your recipient's home... and be UPSIDE DOWN. If you do order the perfect number for your yard, as I did, you might want to order one or two extra... just in case.

I Bought 3 of the 1 gallon Pugster dwarf buddleia butterfly bushes on a whim and was unexpectedly surprised. Arrived within 3 days. Packaging was awesome & very protective. No Plants arrived damaged. Plants we’re actually nicer, much fuller, bigger and looked better that the 2 pots I’d previously bought at Lowes in the spring. And these we’re not as pot root-bound either. I will certainly go this route and buy from this vendor thru Amazon again. My only regret is my own error. I bought the darker blue/purple color and should have bought the lighter purple/lilac color to match what I already have planted in our yard. My error there.
