Aqua Elite, Series 4850, Synthetic Kolinsky Watercolor Paint Brush,Round, 12

Princeton Aqua Elite are my Absolute Favorite paint brushes. Over Years of painting I have collected many brushes but I always gravitate to these. They give smooth lines and hold paint and water well and clean up easily ! I highly recommend !

I love Princeton watercolor brushes. I am a novice watercolor painter- I enjoy painting for enjoyment. This brush has worked great for me.

This brush is great for more than doing washes - use for landscapes, flowers, architectural. Forces the painter to loosen up. As soon as I got this brush I did a very quick floral painted sketch 11" x 14 with just this brush

Loads well, holds a good amount of paint. Seems to retain its shape. I use the for small areas and they are perfect.

I am new to watercolor, and read these brushes were really good. I have bout 5 so far and am loving them. They hold a ton of water. Not really a ton but more than other brushes I have tried. I look forward to trying more sizes and shapes of brushes from this brand. These brushes hold their shape well. They are a little pricey but worth it in my opinion. I highly recommend them. It is true that the right brush can make all the difference in your painting.

My first wide brush which is now becoming a favorite brush. Very smooth glide over paper and holds a lot of pigment. Not too firm or too soft, it’s just right! My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the separation of bristles when it runs dry. However I have found that can be useful for making texture lines. Otherwise this is really an excellent brush for watercoloring. Glad I sized up buying this brush that has expanded my skills with excellent coverage.

Stupidly, I bought a large wash brush at the local hobby store, and it was an off-brand they started carrying. It won't hold water, the pointed end is non-existant once I dip it in watercolor. I bought this as a replacement, knowing my past Princeton Synthetic brushes always performed well. And this did! Wow! Great for wetting your paper before doing a wash, or for laying down large swaths of color, but the pointed end makes it... I can go around the most detailed sketching without mistake. Strong reccommend!
