Character Design Quarterly 11

I recently bought 3dtotal's CREATING STYLIZED CHARACTERS. The CDQ Quarterly is like buying additional content. It is full of stunning artwork, interesting interviews and wonderful, step-by-step look at character creation. 3dtotal has managed to assemble a stable of talented artists, and I will be looking for more CDQ Quarterly and books from this publisher.

Great issue! Love this magazine!!

Prodotto consegnato puntuale e in perfette condizioni.Si tratta di una rivista trimestrale molto ben organizzata e di buona qualità sia per ciò che riguarda i contenuti, sia dal punto di vista del materiale di stampa. Le immagini sono brillanti e la carta è piuttosto solida, cose che rendono questo prodotto non solo utile, ma anche bello da guardare e da tenere in libreria. Essendo una rivista e non un normale artbook, le pagine non sono moltissime, ma le descrizioni dei disegni e dei tutorial illustrati sono ben curate e comprensibili. In ogni numero ci sono i consigli di artisti diversi e gallerie di immagini che offrono spunti per la creazione di personaggi. Consiglio la rivista agli amanti dell'arte contemporanea in generale, ma soprattutto agli artisti che desiderano diventare Character Designer.

It happened with issue number 7 and it keeps happening with issue number 11: 3dtotal keeps undermining its CDQ magazines by binding useful content in the most awful manner, making sure all pages of the magazine come off by simply opening the pages to see the illustrations. They clearly do know how to bind books correctly, as seen from their larger character design books, but they sadly overlook correct binding practices in the CDQ magazines well into 2020.

Big fan of this publication; this issue has a lot of useful and inspiring content focusing on more simple, colourful, and friendly designs. If you haven't subscribed to CDQ yet, I highly recommend doing so.

Come sempre ottima pubblicazione; copertina diversa da quella pubblicizzata che rappresenta un gatto aviatore... Non sono un maniaco della perfezione ma la copertina rovinata, non so se a causa della spedizione ( il cartone esterno era integro) o era già così...da un po fastidio per una pubblicazione appena stampata...

Llego perfecto! Trabajo como ilustrador, y este libro me dejo encantado.Lejos de ser solo una galería, te da consejos sobre diseño de personajes, es genial!
