effective - looks nice
I have a covered patio tiki bar by the pool, and I wanted to use my old iPad to stream Pandora through the sound system out there. I'm using this to mount the iPad, which is in a relatively thick case, to the wall under the TV. It works great for this purpose and I don't see any way that it could let the iPad fall.

Not the worst option
We have an older iPad and it barely fits. We don’t plan on taking it out very often so it’s not a big deal but if you plan on taking your iPad in and out a lot it wouldn’t be a great fit. Fairly sturdy, just don’t fully trust it since the paint on our wall peels off very easily.

Love it!!
Been looking for a wall mount bracket for kindle 10. This does the job perfectly. Couldn't ask for a better product. Well built, only negative wish it came in colors. Grips the tablet securely. I chose to use the screws and anchors to attach to wall. But velcro provided is heavy duty for the purpose.

Looks good. Easy install. Works as advertised.
Instructions that you can read and make sense! Easy install. Works as advertised. Can hold small tablets, large tablets up to iPad size, any size phone and other boxes/cups that can fit. We'll see how it holds up, especially in salt water.

Fantastic wall mount!
I searched for hours before finding this mount. It holds my iPad or iPhone perfectly. I've been using this for months and have had no issues. The included velcro mounting solution is kind of weird, I didn't end up using it. I simply screwed the mount directly into a stud in my wall.

Misleading mounintg options
Time will tell if the unit holds up, but the first thing I noted was confusion for the mounting. Apparently there is an option to mount a Velcro portion to smooth wall, as the hook pad is separate and has an adhesive back. For some reason that pad has four corner holes in it. The natural assumption is those are the right location to use the hollow wall anchors provided in the kit. Nope. I thought it was clever: stick the hook pad to the wall, drill the holes, punch in the anchors, then secure the mount (which has the loop pad secured to it) and run the screws into the anchors. Well, the only screw holes in the mount do not line up with the holes in the hook pad. Not even two will line up. So it is very unclear why the hook pad has those holes at all, since you are not screwing the hook pad to the wall 9the screw heads pretty much fit through the existing holes in the pad). As a result I had to get other wall anchors and put them into the wall, so now I have a bunch of wall anchors in that small space. The loop pad is stuck via adhesive to the back of the mount, and the holes for securing it have to push through the loop pad (no existing holes). That makes it less than easy to line up to the anchors in the wall as the pad wants to angle the screws oddly. I wound up pulling the pad off the mount, which is stuck with adhesive and four tiny screws, so I could more readily screw into the wall anchors. My wife had opened the package so if there were instructions on mounting it I have no idea, but when the mount has clear mounting holes, the hook pad has clear mounting holes, one would think it is clear. One would be wrong.
