Good value for the money

This 4 footer is absolutely solid. It looks like it can withstand blows, (I baby it) with its rubber shock absorbers on its ends. The rare earth magnets are strong. The lights are helpful all the time; even when you think you've got ample light, maybe in a shop, you pop the lights on ... much easier to see from any distance. And the color of the lights is very cool. I'm very proud to have this level, the largest from Swanson's Lightning series.

My last level was lost when I, in a moment of stupidity, placed it stop my vehicle then drove off. It was not the blue magnetic jewel I have now. this stays put when placed on metal and the led light are great when in a closet. I especially like the double level line if I need an set incline. So far this level proven to be accurate and durable.

Like the level. Seems to be a problem with the switch. The lights don't stay on. It's great when it works.

A little disappointed that they didn't put the LED lights in the best positions. They are at the one end of the bubble vials instead of shining across from above or below the vials. This makes it harder to tell when the bubbles are exactly centered because the light "glints" off the end of the bubble where the LED is so it looks different than the other end of the bubble. I would have put the LEDs above or below the vials....... think it would have worked much better that way. Still helpful for using it in dark places though.

Stay away from this product. I owned this and another size for a little over a year and the switch would give me trouble from time to time until it finally refused to light at all. Really a shame because other then that, it is a pretty nice Level. Since they were past the warranty, I recently ordered 2 replacements and BOTH failed within one day of use! I have yet to find a reliable light up Level. Thankfully, Amazon's return policy is excellent!

Excellent tool. First thing was to check accuracy against a water level. Perfect. The illuminated vials are great. The graduation lines are really sweet. No more taping a spacer to a level to obtain grade. Very pleased. The pipe groove is also very handy. Haven't used the magnetic feature yet but it does keep the level from sliding around in the tk. Make sure no debris sticks to it or you will not have true level. This is a great tool.

Best level to have when like me you are working always in dark places. The magnet are not outside that way it make it way to clear all the metal that sticks to the magnet. The build quality is really nice. Have a couple friends who bought the same after seeing mine. Really happy whit this purchase

Great level, high quality and bright led vials

its a nice level but the light has a short in it,wheni turn it on and place on wall it turns off,have to whack it to come back on and a slight bump turns off again
