I lost a ring in my bedroom this is really handy for finding small objects but it dies pick up everything like nails etc

Bought for a birthday present for my wife, it’s very light so she can pinpoint her finds when she’s out metal detecting.

Satisfaction at first I didn’t use it for treasure search yet but found it most useful when checking wooden beams for nails, works very well.

Went out metal detecting the other day, although my dectector has a pin pointer built in, I found using this gave me a better direction in where the item was. Very robust feels nice in the hand. The pouch which comes with it very nicely made I have stuck it to my metal dectector so I know exactly where it is and not bulk out my trousers carrying it. Over all pleased with it. Yes it's not a garrett type, but for some one just starting out it works and not too expensive for some one just getting into the hobby.

It's detection ability isn't that of the leading brands. It beeps at a distance of about 4" - 7" away from the soil hidden metal object. The £80 minelab beeps at about a foot away. The larger the metal surface the pinpointer is away from it can detect, but 7" down in the ground is it's limit. A small item like a coin is the lower limit of 4" distance. I've got use to it not being able to detect at the depth of the metal detector, simply by knowing if the pinpointer isn't detecting the metal in the ground, I've not dug deep enough. But obviously once I near the depth it begins to beep which is reassuring at times having dug a hole 16" deep.

Die Wahrscheinlichkeit, wirklich wertvolle oder tief vergrabene Gegenstände zu finden, ist ziemlich gering. Für kleine Abenteuer und zum spielerischen Erforschen ist er jedoch perfekt geeignet. Insgesamt bin ich zufrieden mit dem Kauf, da der Metalldetektor das hält, was er verspricht: ein unterhaltsames und lehrreiches Spielzeug für Kinder, das ihnen viel Freude bereitet. Wer jedoch ernsthaft auf Schatzsuche gehen möchte, sollte sich nach einem hochwertigeren Gerät umsehen.
