These things are cheap and bright, just make sure that they are connected to a heat sink of sufficient size. I made a yard light with one. The other one I modified to fit in an old halogen work light. Now it uses 50 watts and throws almost no heat, instead of 500 watts and a face burner.

I tried to use these to retrofit an older hid wall pack. Didn’t work. Lasted 3 weeks running all night every night. I used 1/8” flat bar bolted to the aluminum light fixture housing. The flat bar maxed out at 180f and the heat transfer to the fixture appeared to be significant but I guess not enough.

Awfull chips. These burned out incredibly quickly. Ive used a few different COB leds and these have been the worst

Dangerous if you don't know how to handle 110 to keep it safe. So small mechanical design is important for your heat sink and voltage. For that reason I get the 36 volt versions where kids might be around, near water, etc. Use heat sink grease, and a fan if you are running it long.

Good quality LED cob smart modules. Not 4062 boards as shown but good quality AC110V-6040. Tested modules @120vac and pulls 55w so they are 50w modules as advertised. But they run really hot even on a medium sized heatsink at around 180F. Unless mounted to a very large aluminum heatsink it will need some active cooling as well.

Fairly bright lights. Only lasted about 2 weeks. Would not buy again

I bought and installed in my home , however only work 1 month then no more works , what happened only one month life?

bright but unknown at this time how long this will last. Will let you know in a few months

Didn't even last a month. They burnt off quick and not even used often.
