Bought this to fix to a wall as my new car trailer sits out on my drive, so combined with the Urban bike chain and lock, it's way more secure than just with a tow ball lock and wheel clamp fitted. Really easy to fit - a tip is to use increasing sizes of masonry drill bits. Of note, you will need a 16mm one to finish with as the expanding bolts that come with this will not fit in any smaller hole. I used a 5mm, 8mm, 10mm and then 16mm drill bits, all with my Bosch battery hammer drill and had no issues. I haven't as yet fitted the ball bearings into the hex heads to ensure it can never be removed, but that's tomorrow's job and it was getting dark and I didn't want to drop a ball bearing where I'd lose it. Fantastic bit of kit and very well made!

superb ground anchor. very good value for money, easy to install if you have the tools, I used a combi drill to install on concrete, so no need for a SDS. Once the holes are drilled, you just need to tap the shielded screws in and screw with an Allan key ( provided in box), then tap the silver balls over the heads of the screws to prevent thieves unscrewing the anchor. Then finally install the cover. it’s a great size that can be used with any lock/ chain. highly recommend.

I used this anchor with an "urban U4K170 Motorcycle Heavy Duty Chain Lock Padlock Level 11, ø10 Hardened Steel, 170cm" to lock up my E-Bike. I was very impressed with the quality of the anchor . A mains drill is a must, I drilled 10mm pilot holes and then followed by the 16mm drill bit. The 4 expansive 16mm anchors were of high quality and they fit snuggly in the hole. hammering the ball bearings was quite simple.

Good value. They are very strong and when they’re not being used they lay flat. I have bought five of these for my bikes. They are very secure and very well-made. And they take a decent size chain.

Good solid mounting kit. Installation wise halfway there! Concrete floor in my garage is thick and course! Having to use water to keep hammer drill bit cool. Our garage is linked between our house and neighbours! I have warned them of what I'm doing but the noise annoys me lol! It takes 4 bolts but I think 2 across diagonal will do the job . I have throttle/ brake clamp and disclock, along with a heavy duty chain which will also go thru the ground anchor! Keeps the insurance low!!!

Excellent product but get a couple of good quality drill bits for the holes needed.

The plate an anchor itself are fine. However the fixing screws and bolt are terrible. One of them was rusty, once I put them into the ground the screws would not secure to the thread. I now have 4 large holes which I cannot attached the anchor too. I would have pulled them back out and sent them back but they are in concrete.

Groß und stabil, einfach zu montieren (wenn die Bohrmaschine die großen Löcher hinbekommt:). Klare Empfehlung zur Nutzung mit schweren Schlossketten.

Ottimo prodotto molto robusto e ottimo deterrente al furto. Ovviamente deve essere associato ad una catena e lucchetto adeguati. Da tenere presente che serve un trapano in grado di forare un diametro 16mm.
