1/4" Hex to 1/2" Square Drive Socket Adapters (Pack of 2)

I bought these, with some misgivings, hoping to be able to use my new cordless 1/4" drive impact driver to save time and sweat on nuts and bolts. First tried one out on changing my car wheels round to even out tyre wear. 20 nuts to undo and do up. The driver supposedly produces a maximum of 180Nm while the wheel nuts are tightened to the specified 100Nm with a torque wrench. However, the driver would not shift any of them and I had to slack each by one flat, then the driver whipped them off; doing them up, the driver would only do the nuts up to about 90Nm no matter what! So, not as severe a test as intended. One adaptor is still unused in its packing and the other works perfectly up to the limits of my impact driver. Fine as far as I'm concerned, better to tighten carefully by hand than be snapping adaptors or fastenings.
