If you travel a lot need one of these!
This is hands down the best carry on suitcase EVER! Have had several top brands and none of them compare to this one. This one was a bit pricey however worth every cent. Has held up amazingly on international trips and just glides along smoothly. TONS of room inside can fit enough outfits for a couple weeks and roomy for laptop and light blanket in outer pockets. The only sorta downside is the space for the battery pack is barely big enough for the battery pack I have however my battery pack is a rather large so probably no big deal for most and mine fits in the space I just have to find a space for my charging cords in another pocket. If you are wanting a solid product that holds a lot of things yet super light, fits in overhead this is definitely one to get!

High-quality, sturdy, and dependable!
I was on the market for a new suitcase earlier this year, and wanted something that would last me for many trips to come. This suitcase is it! I am coming back to review it after using it for two different domestic flights and an international flight. I included photos of when it was brand new as well as after multiple uses. My favorite things: - The fabric is incredibly tough and durable. - The suitcase rolls over a variety of surfaces well (even airport carpet, asphalt, or cobblestone). On a flat surface sometimes you have to make sure it doesn’t run away from you, it’s that smooth. - The handle has four different height adjustments. - All handles on the suitcase are ergonomically designed and/or padded. This makes it easy to lift it into/out of vehicles, up stairs, around a city, etc. - Good size for a checked bag. Not so big I’ll exceed weight limits, but big enough to fit everything I want to bring. - Clean and stylish looking (I got the purple). My fiance even bought the same one in grey after he saw mine! I couldn’t recommend more!

Superior Luggage
I purchased the Crew VersaPack carry-on in the blue color with brown trim. The color combo is very classy in appearance. I am glad that I opted for another color than black, in that it is much easier to spot when retrieving your luggage at the airport. The first thing I notice was the ease of movement and optimal feel of extending the handle. The fabric is of very high quality and tightly woven. The zippers are high quality. Everything about this suitcase is next level with being impressive. On the outside upper zipped area, I was questioning its function with limited room. Imho, would not want to have secure documents there with fear of being distracted for a few moments and potential theft. Most certainly, you roll a tee shirt and a few pair of socks, and especially add your enclosed see- though bag for liquids for ease to show officials, if there if not enough room inside your luggage. Careful about overstuffing with checking for such before a flight. Plenty of space for most laptops below this area. You can verify laptop space on their website. Inside the luggage, generous zipped area on the top. Just below that zipped area, an impressive surprise with another zipped area to secure more. This feature, along with the depth below is quite appealing. My only negative comment is regarding the OUCH price. Worth the extra cost upfront with longevity paying off in the long run? Quite likely so. I do wish that the powers to be at Amazon would approach Travelpro regarding some perks at least a few times yearly though. By that I mean, it appears that their packing cubes are also of impressive quality and these are not expensive to make, but pricey to buy separately. It would be nice to have the op of buying them for 50% off (at least on occasion) with the high $ investment of this purchase.

Love all the pockets and features.
Beautiful little suitcase with great functionality. The wheels are amazing - when you're in a rush and need both hands for a moment you can just let it run next to you and it doesn't go astray. It weighs a bit more than I'd hope for, but that is because of the wheels and very good protection and all the pockets. One thing that is no ideal is the fact that you have the laptop pocket in the front and right next to it the pocket in which your ipad fits perfectly and above it the special pocket for your liquids... the effect? All the heavy stuff is stuck at the front side of the suitcase and it tips over. My solution - I put heavy books or my laptop in the internal pocked that normally is zipped to the lid. I unzip it and put it at the bottom of the suitcase . Like this it balances out the liquids. Another thing - the liquids plastic bag is great BUT the pocket for it is too small if you're a woman and pack the bag fully... it is difficult to stuff it into the pocket. Still - I really like this suitcase and it has a better price than some other ones out there.

Deceptive Amazon description
Just want to point this out right upfront, this is NOT 21", it's H: 23 in. W: 15.5 in. D: 10 in. Only the case itself is 21". Good luck trying to argue that point with an airline. The correct name for this is Crew™ VersaPack™ Max Carry-On Expandable Spinner. That being said, I purchased this and immediately thought there was a mistake as I wanted a 21" carry on. The Crew™ VersaPack™ GLOBAL Carry-On Expandable Spinner is 21.5". After much further research trying to sort this out for myself I decided to keep it based on two things. First, right on the travelpro website for the "Max Carry-on" it states "Sizer Bin Tested: This Carry-on bag has been sizer bin tested to accommodate overhead bin space on most major US airlines. Fully expanded Carry-On may not meet airline restrictions." Second, I found a YouTube review where they went to the airport with a brand new bag and tested it in all sizers for major airlines and it fit. I did purchase this with the intent of using it as a carry on for future international travel but it seems as if with this exact bag that may be 50/50. Chances are flying a major US airline to Europe or a major European airline that may not be a problem but I can't speak to that. What I can speak to is I rolled the dice and carried this on an Avelo flight in the US. Avelo is a newer ultra low cost airline and I figured if I would have any pushback it would be with them. My wife checked a bag and I stood by the check in desk with my Travelpro Crew Max Carry-on, it was given a glance but no one asked me to size it. I had the same experience at the gate and none of the flight attendants seemed to care. Reading all the other reviews it seems this is what usually happens. I'm not sure how this would fare on regional jets, but that's not a concern of mine as Southwest is usually the airline I fly the most. As far as the bag it self it's a 10/10. Great quality, absurdly convienent, coupled with the matching tote this is a great travel combo, you could easily pack 5-7 days in this bag with room to spare. Update: No issues using it on an international Delta flight, rolled right onto the plane and fit into the overhead bin easily. Gate agents and flight attendants didn't say anything.

250 flights and still going strong!!
I fly a lot for work and I have been traveling with this bag for about 2.5 years. At the rate I travel, that would put this bag at being used for about 250 flights. It is starting to show some signs of wear and tear, but nothing I wouldn't have expected for a bag with this many miles on it (see photos). I simply can't find a reason to replace it right now. The previous two carry-ons I used, an Eagle Creek and a SwissGear, were both great bags, but this TravelPro has lasted longer than both of the combined! If you're thinking about buying this bag, here's what I can tell you: Overhead storage: I fly United Airlines almost exclusively. I've been on every plane type in their fleet multiple times, including the regional jets operated by "United Express" partner airlines like CommuteAir, SkyWest, and GoJet. This bag (the 21 inch version) will fit into any of the overhead compartments where the plane allows roller bags in the cabin (some smaller regional jets like the EMB or CRJ planes have overheads that won't hold luggage bigger than a typical backpack). When bulkier winter clothes are in the bag, the fit might be a little tight on some planes, but I have never had to gate-check this bag because I expected it to fit in the overhead and it wouldn't. Some planes in the Boing MAX series have "taller" overhead bins where roller bags can be stored on their side vertically instead of the typical flat horizontal. Occasionally these bin won't close with this bag on it's side; I'm not sure why, it just seems to sometimes 1/2" too tall. On these planes, I do a quick check when loading the bag into the overhead. If the bin doesn't close, I simply turn the bag horizontally like I would on any other plane and the problem is solved. I've also had this bag in overhead compartments on flights with Alligent, American, Emirates, Delta, and Frontier. Again, I've never had any issues with the bag fitting in overheads (or meeting the preboarding size check some of the discount airlines like to do so they can charge you extra for your luggage...I'm looking at you, Frontier!). Packing: Inside the bag - This bag can easily hold can easily hold 1 week's worth of men's clothing (business and casual), a sundry bag, and one or two pairs of shoes. I can pack a few more day's worth of casual clothes using airtight packing bags for a two week trip. As stated above, winter clothes can be bulkier and take away from these totals. Any soft shelled bag will bulge when packed tightly, which can make it more difficult to close up. Opening the expander, closing the bag's main compartment, then closing the expander can usually help with this and still allows it to fit into an overhead compartment. The outside pockets - The outer pockets aren't as useful to me, but I do still use some of them. The small top pocket (where the TravelPro logo is mounted) is great for quickly storing my phone as my bag is on the rollers going toward the TSA scanners, then I can easily grab my phone back out of the pocket when taking it off the rollers. I use the larger lower compartment for thin, misc. items like extra packing bags or masks during the pandemic. I wouldn't want to put anything too bulky there because of the extra bulging it would cause. I don't use the laptop or USB/Powerbank compartments, but I have confirmed the USB ports do work, and that small side pocket might be handy for something small like an AirTag if that's your thing. >>One con in this area: if the bag is packed extra full, the telescoping handle sometimes is a little harder to operate, like the extra compression is keeping the handle from moving in and out correctly. This has not ever prevented me from using the handle. Performance: Wheels - second to none. In fact, sometimes I have to be careful in rooms with a drain in the floor. If the floor is sloped toward the drain, the bag will sometimes roll off if I'm not paying attention to it! Maneuvering the bag through crowded airports is a breeze, whether using all four wheelsets with the bag at my side, or pulling it behind me on two wheelsets when walking up hill or in airports with heavily carpeted floors like PDX. The magnetic self-aligning wheels allow the bag to easily keep rolling in whatever direction the bag is pushed/pulled. Handles - The telescoping handle works extremely well. It typically moves in and out quite smoothly (except when the bag is packed extra tight as noted above). It locks into middle positions very firmly and the bag can be moved with very little wobble in those positions. The grip is ergonomically shaped to make it comfortable in the hand, and it is as soft to the touch as I would expect any suitcase could have. The thee handles attached directly to the bag are durable and easy to use. The top and side handle are soft and comfortable; the third handle on the bottom of the bag is hard plastic and handy for lifting the bag with two hands when loading/unloading from a car or airport shuttle. Wear noted to date: After 2.5 years/250 flights, the large outside pocket is showing some some fraying in one place on the top edge; likely a result of wrestling the bag into and out of overheads. I've also lost one zipper pull, from the laptop compartment. I don't use that pocket, so I haven't bothered replacing it. There is also some scarring of the plastic wheel wells of all four wheelsets, but no major damage. No staining to speak of, but the grey color is going to help hide just about any normal stains. None of this wear makes me question purchasing the bag, continuing to use it as is, or replacing at this time. Final thoughts: This bag has taken an absolute beating for a long period of time and is starting to show signs of wear and tear, but I can't imagine a suitcase performing better than this one has. TravelPro bags might cost a little more than a SwissGear or a Samsonite bag, but I can tell you first hand that this bag is worth the extra money. I've thought about trying a higher end bag like TUMI, but my experience with this bag makes me wonder what I could possibly gain for the extra money. The next time you're at an airport, pay attention to the bags the pilots and flight attendants are pulling. There is a reason most airline personnel choose TravelPro luggage!

Whoa, thats a lot of money for a suitcase... but
Like many, I balked at spending $265 for a suitcase when I can go to a big box with a membership and get a set for that price. But, I was looking to replace those sets I bought years ago with only 2 wheels. So, after a bit of investigating quality, warranty, reviews, etc I choose this Travelpro suitcase. It has the 4 spinner wheels I wanted, it has an immense amount clothes, wine bottles, shoes, macbook, wine glasses, hand made bowls, etc. The exterior is cloth but looked strong. Anyway, I took this on a 17 day trip recently overseas to Portugal. If you have been to old cities in Europe, you know that the roads, sidwalks, and alleys are all made with cobblestones of various sizes, various gaps, and not smooth like asphalt or concrete. I flew 6 flights, rode trains, subways, and walked miles with this suitcase in tow. I used it upright rolling and pulled it behind me on 2 wheels, hitting all the gaps and bumps. It also was weighing about 50#. Zero issues, see my pics. I also sat on it for 2 hours (I'm 220#). As you saw from my packing list, It all arrived home with zero damage to anything inside and the suitcase looks like new. I highly recommend you take a look at this one. My only comment is with all the bumps, you need to pack smartly, nothing fragile on the wheel end as it kinda uses gravity to pack everything towards the wheels eventually. This is for all wheeled luggage. I'm gonna buy another one for the wife.
