they look fine when they fit a little big
stretchy and durable. can take a beating in the laundry and in dance class. even for a 3 year old. they look fine when they fit a little big, and they look fine when they fit a little snug. they look best when worn over a leotard. size 4-6 fits my 3 year old and my 6 year old niece (but she is skinny). my daughter wears size 5 or 6 in pants in normal clothes, and my niece wears size 6 in regular clothes.

Good quality. A little big in the legs.
These are too loose in the legs for my daughter to wear them to dancing, so we kept them for her to throw on over her leotard if we have errands to run before/after class. She is petite, so that is a factor, but even still I ordered her usual size and expected them to be a little more fitted. They’re a good quality so we’re going to keep them for her to grow into.

Small 4-6 fit more on the 6 end than 4 end
I got a small 4-6 for my daughter who is 3 and usually wears size 4 pants. I know dance outfits usually can come tight so I thought I'd be safe. They def. ran more on the larger size as you can see in the photo. (I forgot to have her try on before the day of the show) she'll be able to grow into them, but if you are worried about them being on small side don't worry.

Good quality.
Used for toddler in dance class. A touch short but good for dance. Capezio is good quality.

Versatile little shorts
Bought these to add a little more coverage to my 3 year old's gymnastics leotard. She is petite and wears 2T bottoms in street clothes. These shorts in a size T (2-4) is a little loose, but not too loose that it falls off. Room to grow, which is great. Unlike most leotards in various brands, I think these are more true to size and do not run as small as leos. These are definitely short shorts, but for our gymnastics purposes, they're great. They'd also be great as little shorts under a dress or skirt.

They look super tiny, but actually fit perfectly for dance/gymnastics
Bought size S (4-6) for my petite 6 year old to wear for rhythmic gymnastics. They look super tiny, but actually fit perfectly for dance/gymnastics. The fabric is soft and breathable, and washes well. I wish the price we're a little lower (paid $13.50), but I would still recommend them.

Perfect!
I ordered these shorts for my almost 6 year old to wear over her leotard at gymnastics. I was worried about the size because it's 4-6 but she's a tall (but slender) almost 6 year old. I was afraid they'd be too tight or short since she was on the upper end of the age for size. They fit her perfectly! I'm so glad I didn't order the next size up. Like others said these have a very slight flare at the leg, but I like that on her rather than the tight shorts and I think they'll work well for gymnastics.

Comfortable, well made, not too losses or too tight.
These fit as expected. I got them because the girls at my daughter's gymnastics school like to wear these little stretchy shorts over their leotards. It's just what my daughter wanted- comfortable, allows freedom of movement, not too loose or too tight. Reasonable price. I wouldn't buy them as actual shorts, though, but for dance or gymnastics I would have no trouble recommending these.
