Good product, my bird doesn't like sunflower seed so it works great for him.

Excellent Product
I was buying some generic cockatiel food for my three birds, it had some sunflower seeds in it and they did not like it that much. So I did some research on Amazon and I found this. I'm so glad I did, they absolutely love it. When I do empty out their food bowl it is usually just empty shells from where they were eating from the seeds. It has really good product in it. The value for the money is excellent! The smell is devouring for my babies. I highly recommend this product!

Cockatiel loves (part of) it
My cockatiel loves this. The food smells fresh and clean, and there’s no dust inside. The bag can be resealed for freshness. There is a variety of ingredients which is good for bird’s health. I mix a handful of these seeds into pellets, my bird loves the different types of seeds and millets inside but won’t touch the dried veggies, buckwheat, and raisins due to these things being more difficult to eat. It is a lot more pricy than other brands of bird seeds but I think the quality of the ingredient is worth it, and the use of safflower seed instead of sunflower seed helps birds live longer.

looking for just plain good bird seeds enriched and balanced
was looking for a bird seeds that was just plain old fashion a hearty meal full of the seeds the birds love and then more, with added vitamins and minerals complete, nowdays all pet foods are so complicated, kibble, SUGAR? pro biotics, invert this, formaldehyde that, or raisins? like human food too. i'm sure they are adds that are beneficial for our pets, but they been eating it for a week just about and they seemed to like it but today it seems they don't want to eat too much and some of them are encountering some heavy breathing i went over the ingredients that seem harmless and very beneficial and looked some up but there are dried fruits, how are they preserved? and an awful lot of ferrous sulfate that has some listed side effects including breathing, does anyone else notice their babies encountering anything like this? they never had a problem like this. ty

So many positive reviews.
My Cockatiel was weaned onto a premium seed mix and Lefeber pellets. The premium seed mix is available at the bird store 30 miles away from our summer residence. We are in Florida 5 months of winter and traveling 2 months in a motor home. I decided on Amazon so I can get the seed when and where I want it. I was impressed with the write up and the reviews of Sweet Harvest without sunflower seeds. The seed is fresh, very good and with a good variety of seeds, fruits and dried veggies. My bird likes it very much and switched from his last seed with no problem. He eats the Sweet Harvest with 50% pellets. Of course Georgie eats the seeds first then sometime in the afternoon he will switch to pellets!

The staple/base of my six birds' diet
This seed mixture is the base/staple of my six cockatiels' diet: two adults and four juveniles. Most cockatiel and parrot communities I've read recommend against a seed-only diet, but these are a mixture of seeds and vegetables and fruits, and are fortified with vitamins and minerals, so I feel confident in using this as a base to their diet. On top of this, I separately add fortified seed/fruit balls and lots of fresh vegetables like kale, spinach, celery, carrots and corn. Admittedly, the vegetable/fruit component of this mix looks like a very, very small part of it consisting of small think flakes, but it is a robust meal for the birds and they seem to absolutely love it. All six of my birds have been on this since they started eating solid food, and they are all active, strong, intelligent and have large healthy chests and glossy feathers.

One of the best mixture cockatiel food on the market. Has everything except water for your best pal needs. A little more expensive but worth it. Bob
