Black Boston Cocktail Shaker Bar Set: Professional Bartender Kit: 2 Weighted Martini Shaker Tins, Hawthorne Strainer and Japanese Jigger

The jigger and strainer are fantastic but the problem lies with the shaker.The plating sucks badly, i used it once to make a few caipiroskas and the plating on the small tin got royally messed up (see pics, keep in mind this is the first and only use), way more than i expected.And as the reviews say, the shaker does indeed get stuck as if it was its birthright(so it doesnt seem to be only my shakers defect), and when i say stuck i mean it takes some real armstrenght and hitting, which only further wears out the plating. First drink i made i sealed it, shook it, then proceeded to look like an idiot who couldnt open a shaker. I am a bartender, ive opened a boston shaker before and ive never had to struggle this much. I cannot use this at work(as i was hoping to do) and im not a fan of making my guests wait while i pull, hit, and eventually twist the shaker.I would not recommend this set to anyone, mostly because of the shakers inefficiency and self destructive properties (having to twist and pull the thing really hard). Also i dont know if its just me, but the shaker is kind of hard to grasp when shaking, i feel like it may be longer than usual, that can be fixed by Using a different hold But It Doesnt look nearly as cool.

Bought this kit to practice making drinks at home since I’ve just got my certificate. Overall this kit has all the basic essential stuff. The color and packaging are beautiful, although I notice the smaller tin piece is larger than I expected, also, after shaking and closing the tin, the smaller piece gets stuck and is very difficult to take it off. I usually twist up and seem to work, but with this tin I’ve noticed is not necessary to hit too hard and close since the piece is so large and tend to get stuck very easily. For the look of it, would be nice to have it at a bar, but for the efficiency of opening the shaker, I would not use it at a bar.

Looks great but tins get stuck after shaking a martini. Takes to long to pull apart even with lots of pounding around shaker. Not efficient for a fast paced bar environment.

I had looked through a bunch of sets for my bar at home since i needed an upgrade. This set always stuck out. It’s beautiful! It accents my bar extremely well and is so easy to clean. Will be buying more as gifts!

Out of the box, the black shakers look great. After the first use however, not so much. The smaller shaker chips almost immediately and deposits the metal coating into the larger shaker. The photos are after the first day and 2-3 uses. I don't know if the copper is any better or if it is also a cheap coating. If looking into this shaker, go with the standard silver to avoid chipping. I know I should have.The seller gave me a full refund and was very easy to resolve.

Bartender of ten years, foamy had to break down and buy myself a new set. This is perfect, they're very sturdy and the Rose Gold is awesome. They have a bit of weight to them also, not flimsy at all, especially the strainer. A great buy , 1000% happy with this purchase!!

Really really cute set, but it did come with a small scratch on the shaker. After a couple uses, it looks like there are places where the copper paint chips through just a little. The muddler doesn't really match the rest of the set, but overall I'm happy with the kit!

This is perfect for setting up a personal bar! It’s beautiful and has all the right stuff. Very useful and aesthetically pleasing.
