06016 Add-On Display for 5-in-1 Weather Sensors (sensor not included)

This display worked perfectly with our existing unit. It's an improvement over the one that came with it. Much more information on the display. Programmable. We are very happy with the quality of the product.

I have had the Acurite 06016RM system with two displays for several months. It delivers outstanding performance and customer service is fantastic! I ordered an upgrade to the solar panel and after receiving the first unit the anemometer did not work. I received an RMA from AcuRite and the replacement unit arrived before I could return the first unit. I had the same problem with the second unit. Suspecting there was an error in the way I was installing the unit I called AcuRite service line. The support person worked with me for over an hour and we couldn't resolve the problem so he requested I return the unit to them. I received the repaired unit within a week, installed it and everything worked.

Got this so as to have a display in my bedroom. Set up was a breeze and it locked on to the outdoor device's signal without a problem. Had to get used to the slight difference between the displays but these were minor. (I did miss the extra items such as being able to move thru the high index, wind chill, and dew point item, but this were minor things. These are automated on this display based on temp instead of having them available on a front panel button.) Since this was in my bedroom, which is all the way to the back of the trailer from where my computers are, I decided to not connect this display to the computer. I have an extender and it provided a really solid signal to this display. I plan on placing at least two more of these in the Living Room and the Kitchen. A good buy for me.

I’m very impressed with the customer support, but surprised that AcuRite doesn’t stand behind their product. After about 4 years the sensor went out. I contacted customer support, which was swift and very responsive. They had me dissamble the unit. However, the conclusion was that I had to buy a new part ($30 with shipping) or a whole new exterior unit (150 with shipping). And this isn’t the first issue I have had with this and another unit. So I won’t be buying from AcuRite in the future, especially if the (very expensive) products are unreliable only last a few years.

I really enjoy observing the weather and the AcuRite makes it easier to read and understand. I received the entire weather station as a gift and enjoyed it so much I ordered another display unit so I could keep an eye on the readings from my shop. Both work great.

This display almost instantly connected to my Isis weather station. The few settings were easy to adjust. If it has any fault, it is the display cannot be adjusted to a dimness suitable for use in my bedroom at night when it uses its power supply. It can operate completely dimmed when on batteries only. It is a good night light in other areas of the house.

I bought this to replace my old one which I'd had for quite a few years. It wasn't able to transmit as far as my old one and in fact I had to put it quite close to my house. It works well although at a shorter dustance

This is a replacement for a display to a 5 in 1 weather station. Has been running well for over 2 years. The only down side is it has to be mounted at eye level. If higher or lower the display is very hard to read.

It’s pretty accurate overall but seems to think it’s raining or going to most days. Temp, humidity, wind speed and rainfall and very accurate. Even though this unit has battery backup I’ve had to reset my date and time twice in a month so I lose my rainfall logs. Not sure what the issue is because I haven’t lost power during this period and I use the same quality batteries in both units inside and out. Overall I still really enjoy it
