Great help if you hit a road block

I appreciate the consistency of the rubrics and student self assessment pages. Some of the lessons are great for basic techniques, and I like her definitions of some terms. The typos/spelling errors bother me, but overall it's not a bad supplement.

Great plug-and-play concepts to use for an art class

This book is a real disappointment. I will be returning it. It has very few lesson plans, and they are very basic and uninspiring. The lessons only cover drawing, and there are very few illustrations. There are only maybe a dozen different lessons, and they are just basic still life drawing and perspective assignments. I bought this for homeschooling my eighth grade daughter. But she would be bored silly with this, and we’d be out of lesson plans within a couple of months. There are also a lot of grammatical errors and typos. It seems like something that is self-published and very low quality.

There are 52 pages in this book. Seven have no Art lesson plans on them. Ten of the ones that do have a full-page copy of the same rubric. The two-thirds of this slim book that actually contain Art lesson plans are no great shakes. Trust me: you've seen better versions of these lessons in other places. It makes you wonder what the author thought they had that was worth sharing--or charging money for. I'm going to see about returning my purchase.
