These strings are powerful yet warm and they settle in quite fast!

Beautiful sound
I feel like these strings completely changed how my violin sounded. Incredibly mellow which I enjoy. My old strings (Helocore) sounded very whistly to me after a while but these are beautiful. My only complaint is that they seem to take a long while to settle in.

Too much.
Update: after a decade of using these exclusively on multiple violins, I am so glad Pirastro raised their prices so high I was forced to try other strings. What I discovered is that in the past decade, there have been wonderful developments in violin strings, and there are many sets, by many makers, that surpass Evah Pirazzi Gold in both tonal quality, and longevity (As we all know, Evah Pirazzi Gold strings sound falls off a cliff in 2-3 months). There are much better strings out there than these, at half the price! Good bye Pirastro. ——————- These have been my go to strings since they were introduced. However, at these prices this will be my last set. There are many comperable alternatives.
