These are high quality connectors that allow one to easily connect and disconnect hoses, spray heads, faucets, etc. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and ease of use. Highly recommended.

I've used the standard version for nearly forty years (I forget the original brand- GILMOUR?. Ace still sells a proprietary version that uses the same design). When I first bought them, this appeared to be the only product of this type. We moved recently, leaving our old 3 acre lot and quick connectors for over 1200' of hose behind. Currently, these seem to the ideal improved version, I speculate that the patent has expired, and imitators now make the connections in different versions- using either the original unusual rubber washer, or an O-ring, and offering the design in either a female end for the supply, or for the attachment at the end of the hose. • The old style uses a thicker washer- unlike a standard washer, it has two layers. The brass nose of the coupling indents the thinner layer, making a seal. But in a year or two the washer becomes stiff after exposure to heat. The washers also last longer if the connector is separated after each use (to avoid having the sealing portion of the washer take a set in the deformed, installed positon and then leaking)- very annoying. The washers have always been very expensive and hard to find. Without a replacement, the coupling leaks in about a year, often profusely. Without replacement washers, it's not a useful accessory. • This newer design uses an O-ring seal for the quick connect, a more stable design for the rubber washer. The O ring seals the diameter difference between the two side of the connector, also a design that seems consistent after lengthy use. • To ensure long life with no replacement of rubber seals, I also recommend that the female connector be the type that is installed on the supply side... this leads to fewer problems with dirt compromising the connection. • The connector will definitely function longer without problems if the mating surfaces are rinsed free of any contamination, and wet, before each time they are connected. Despite my expectations, I've use these new connectors for only a few months. So far, however, it is a completely trouble free product. Preliminary observation suggests the seal with last far longer without leaking than the original design.

Product seems very well built and easy to use. Fits standard hose ends and bibs. No problems with functionality and flow is great through the fittings. I was hoping that these would be able to be swapped without turning water off but unfortunately they do not seal when disconnected. There are some other brands that offer that ability, so be aware if that is something you are wanting in a quick disconnect fitting. They do make nozzle and hose changes very quick and easy, just remember to turn water off before disconnecting.

Excellent product. Pull the sleeve and insert the male end. Then give it a little push to seat the male end, and it makes a nice and snug fit. I put one of these on my garden hose with a male end on my Wife’s watering wand and Voilà!!! No leaks. No drips. Happy Wife. Great product. Great price. Fast delivery. 5 stars.

Bought 2 packs of 3 connectors to connect garden hoses to related devices thinking the higher price must mean better quality. Turned out to be complete garbage! On hand tightening the first female connector to a hose the outer ring section of the connector split and broke off. The next set of connectors tightened but would not connect together until I sprayed silicon lube on the bearings in the sliding section of the female connector. (This turned out to be necessary for all of the pairs.) Once the two halves were connected, they both leaked at the hose and spray gun connections (even though I used thread sealant tape for both) AND they leaked at the union between male and female sections - in other words at all 3 possible locations. Then decided to cut my losses and try returning them to Amazon. The only positive points are Amazon gave me a very quick full refund and I then found better products elsewhere for less money.....

Excellent Adapters and really well made! Just a little on the pricey side, I thought.

A little bit hard to push n connectors but hoping they need to be worked in a bit.

units did not connect to each other, nor was i able to screw the female end onto the male end of the hose.
