A seemingly high quality adapter with connections for both 4 and 5 pin trailers. While most newer trucks have 4 and 7 pin plugs built in, 5 pin is often overlooked. And for older trucks, 7 pin was all you go. With this adapter you can easily move between pretty much any trailer you might be moving.

Works great and good quality

It has worked well every time I have needed it so far (not very often). It isn't very compact, and not something you would probably leave plugged in when you are not actively using it.

The plug converter is exactly as described and convenient having both a 4 flat and 5 flat available to use.

Decent quality, allows towing 4 and the less common 5 wire trailers without worrying about compatability with a standard 7 wire receptacle. 4 wire harness is pin 1 (ground), 2 (running), 3 (left signal), 4 (right signal) and the 5 wire harness is the same but also includes pin 7->pin 5 (reverse). While few trailers have backup lights, the reverse signal is used on many hydraulic systems to activate an electric solenoid valve to close the hydraulic brake line in reverse allowing the trailer to be backed up easily without applying the brakes. Much better than manually locking out the brakes. All in all a very nice versatile adapter. If you tow multiple trailers, you need this or something similar to make your like much simpler.
