Whistling Tea Kettle

This is an excellent kettle at a very reasonable cost: large, sturdy, pretty, very well-constructed. The handle & spout are easily operated, & the silicone mutt is an extra bonus. It arrived a day early, & the protective bag was a nice touch.

I bought this stovetop whistling kettle for my mom, a while now and she loves it. The design is beautiful matte black with gold accents looks very classy on the stove. It heats up quickly and the whistle is loud enough to hear from another room, which I appreciate. The handle stays cool and feels comfortable to hold, even when the kettle is full. I also like that it comes with a silicone pinch mitt it’s a small detail but very useful. The kettle feels solid and well-made, not flimsy at all. Capacity is great for making multiple cups of tea at once, and it pours smoothly without spilling. Overall, a good purchase and worth the price.

I bought this tea kettle as a gift for my wife, and it turned out to be a great choice. It looks very elegant and fits perfectly with our white and gold kitchen style. The silver color is classy and modern. The kettle heats up fast and whistles loudly when the water is ready. The handle stays cool and feels comfortable to hold. The quality of the stainless steel is very good, and the silicone pinch mitt is a nice extra. My wife really loves it, and it looks beautiful on our stove. Very large. Boils water fast. Does NOT have a loud whistle so you need to keep an eye on it as it will be shooting out steam bipartisan not make much noise. The catch under the handle is difficulty to push to open the spout so I just flip it open with a spoon. Seems well made and is very pretty.

Awesome stove top tea kettle that is sturdy and light. Love the style and color! Def worth the money and love the whistle sound. The kettle doesn’t leak and works like a charm. We use it daily for hot tea.

This Silver Whistling Tea Kettle arrived in pristine condition. The stainless steel was so shiny it was difficult to take a photo without my reflection in it. Instructions do not include information on cleaning before the first use so I washed and rinsed it well several times with water and dish detergent. The base of the tea kettle completely covers the 6.5" back burner on my electric stovetop. I did not find that the black part of the handle is hot to the touch but the stainless steel part is. A Silicone Gripper is included to avoid burning your hand. I find it easy to just hold the kettle by the black part of the handle. Inside the tea kettle is stainless steel. I chose this because my previous tea kettle had a dark finish inside which flaked and I had to throw it away as the flakes were getting in my tea. I filled the kettle about half way since I only wanted one cup of tea and did not want to wait for 2 liters to boil. It took a while to heat up because I used medium low heat as suggested in the instructions. For my next cups I used medium and after that closer to high heat. High heat did not affect the finish on my tea kettle. Perhaps because the outside is stainless steel (not one of the colors offered) and also the base of the tea kettle fully covers my burner. So now I feel confident to heat it on high. The whistle was loud (even though I filled it only half way) and I was able to hear it in the farthest room of my house. The Silver Version of the Tea Kettle does not have a black stripe down the front as the photo might lead you to believe. I think that is just a reflection of the knob on the cover. This Stainless Steel Tea Kettle is much more attractive in my kitchen than on the website. The photo on the website made me think it was not a shiny finish. I'm glad I took the chance and purchased it.

This looks really nice as an addition to what I have in my kitchen. Elegant look yet sturdy and not cheaply made. Whistles for your attention when water for tea is boiled enough. I usually do half a pot but the capacity is great for multiple small cups of tea. Thickness of the bottom base for better handling of temperature and easy to use and clean!

It's pretty but the handle gets very hot. You must have a pot holder to pick it up after boiling water. Also, if you have left over water in there, it's rusty when it pours out so I dump and rinse it out after every use.

Haven't use yet, I bought it for my friend house warming. It look beautiful.

I was amased at the quality of this kettle! It is gorgeous; a beautiful colour, quite heavy and very good quallity. The bottom is a triple layer of stainless steel, so it holds up to heat. It works well; stays shiny, washes well and is easy to clean. It looks very good w/ any decor and it's a pretty colour. For about $80., which is mid price for a good tea kettle, you can't go wrong. No need to spend over $100. for a good stove top like this. We're British and love our tea. We don't use electric kettles or microwaves to make tea! This one is perfect!! Our last one got chipped after 5 years, so gave it away.
