The Modern Witch Tarot Deck

These cards are gorgeous! Finally there's a deck with awesome artwork that is so super diverse. Unlike a lot of decks I've seen that use African American/People of the diaspora in the marketing but when you watch a flip through, those two-three cards that took center stage in the advertising end up being the only cards featuring African American people of the 40+ cards included (There's an oracle deck that just released that used this tactic, and watching the flip through was a huge disappointment). There is a multitude of beautiful black women throughout this whole deck! Lisa Sterle did a wonderful job and this is definitely one of my favorite decks. Though I'm not a fan of the traditional Rider-Waite deck, Modern Witch Tarot is a welcomed upgrade. They are made of pretty thick card stock which makes it a little difficult to shuffle like playing cards but I find that by dividing the deck in half and cutting the deck a few times, gives me a good shuffle. The packaging is so pretty and the little book that came with it is cute. The book, however, is the weakest part of the whole package. It's hard cover which is a nice change of pace but the card meanings are sparse and there are no reversals available. The card meanings feel more like reading the horoscope than providing insights in the card. There's no mention of the elements and zodiac type of info that is associated with the Majors and Minor suits, it's just a short sentence or two for each card - I guess this wouldn't be so bad if they were a little more helpful. Other than that, it's a lovely deck. I'm so happy to see so many black women included in this deck. And it's not just black women, there are women in this deck of all ethnicities, shapes, sizes and personal identifications. It's really an awesome buy.

The Modern Witch Tarot Deck is everything. Super vibrant colors, sturdy cards, and the artwork? Chef’s kiss! 🔮 I love how inclusive and modern it feels—like tarot got a 2025 glow-up. The guidebook is clear and beginner-friendly too. Only con? The cards are a bit stiff at first, but they shuffle better with use. If you want a deck that’s powerful and pretty, this is it. 🖤

Love the look of this deck, the cards are very sturdy. I also appreciate how the imagery closely mirrors the look of the classic Rider-Waite tarot deck.

I am going to be raw & uncut with this review. I also have a review on youtube anyway these cards are nice the box was dinged at the top on the side but the inside of the box is beautiful I like how it slides out the card stock is very nice shiny thick some may not prefer that but as for I love. Now the images on the cards I already told y’all I was gonna get raw. This card deck has lesbians replacing the men. Now I ain’t no lesbian but it was beautiful to see they made these cards with every woman in the world in mind in these cards every race every nationality and sexualities. It’s like women United in these cards no hate what so ever very feminine cards. They are regular rider Waite with a all female illustrations. I have so many decks & each one I felt some connection but these cards I fee a connection as I looked at the cards I could already relate to each one. These cards are great for newbies these cards are great period. I meant to add it’s all ages in these cards too like these cards are just awesome and I don’t write reviews for money I don’t write reviews for garbage I am very blunt this is my my honest blunt opinion. Buy the cards right now also if your just buying to collect cards yes yes yes they are also great to add to a card collection you will not regret it. Again nobody had paid me for this review. They are on sale the price just actually dropped yesterday so hurry up and get them before they go back to 24.99 They are worth the buy even at the full price.

I Wish i Could Give This Product 20 Stars. It’s My First Deck & It Is So Beautiful. I Was So Anxious Waiting On It In The Mail. It Came About Two Days Before It Was Scheduled. So That Made Me Super Excited. And The Day I Got The Notification For It’s Early Arrival, I Was Gifted A Beautiful Tool That I’ve Been Shopping Around For. & It Was Way Better Then Anything I Could’ve Hoped For. There Was An Eight Pointed Star At The Bottom of My Gift, Naturally Formed. When I Got The Cards, I Saged & Charged Them In The Full Moonlight Right Away. And Yes, It Was Delivered On The Night Of The Full Moon! When Interviewing I Asked “What Do You Think Of Me” & Received The 8 Pointed Star Card. Super Cool Asf, Since I Was Just Given A Gift With That Massage Also. Every Reading I’ve Done So Far Has Been Transforming & I Already Feel Such A Lovely Connection. And Learned So Much. The Women Who Made These Cards... I Don’t Know Much About Her. However I Do Know, She Must Be A Beautiful Soul. These Cards Are Everything. The Color, The Art, The Energy, The Accuracies... Everything! So Much Love In This Deck. So Happy. I’m Kinda Addicted To Shopping & i Completely Am Overtaken By These Cards. I Don’t Even Care About Anything Else Coming Or That’s Come. I love this deck! It’s my go-to deck now. The artwork does a nice job of transporting the traditional Rider-Waite story into a relatable 21st Century context, through details like clothing, scenes & technology incl. mobile phones. I found it easy to interpret the card meanings instantly with my existing knowledge of the traditional deck. Comes with a mini hardcover book too.

Ich bin total verliebt in dieses Tarot Deck. Die Illustrationen sind außergewöhnlich schön und trotzdem sehr an das RW Deck angelehnt. Was ich besonders mag ist die Diversität der Charaktere. Die Qualität der Karten ist sehr gut, die Verpackung ist Klasse und bis ins kleinste Detail designt. Das Booklet liefert ausreichend Informationen. Alles in allem zählt dieses Deck jetzt schon zu meinen Lieblingen. Es ist wirklich wunderschön gestaltet.

Todos los personajes son mujeres. Sólo en el 10 de oros se ve lo que parece un hombrecillo con cabello rubio, de espaldas Las cartas son preciosas:colores intensos y cartón impermeable y de calidad. Además de mayor tamaño que las barajas estándar La mayoría se basan en Rider-Waite pero con dibujos modernos y bonitos. El 3 e espadas es más fea que en RW porque del corazón atravesado por espadas se escurre un líquido negro que no entiendo bien qué representa. El librito tiene portada dura y bonita pero la letra muy pequeña aún habiendo espacio para hacerla más grande. Casi precisas lupa Este tarot me gusta mucho porque es una mejora de RW pero manteniendo su esencia. Muy alegre. Lo único que no me gusta es la ausencia total de personajes masculinos. Las cartas vienen protegidas en una caja de cartón duro que se abre de forma vertical. La baraja es preciosa y el precio estupendo para la calidad que ofrece.
