Product Description An outlaw biker and her Man-Eaters gang treat men like dirt. Made by Herschell Gordon Lewis. desertcart.com "Sex, guts, blood, and all men are muthers!" The all-girl motorcycle club the Man-Eaters is a swaggering, brutal bunch who like to be in the driver's seat. They race for first pick among the "stud line" that await them at their favorite watering hole, pound a rival hot-rod gang into the ground in a turf war (and then strip them for good measure), and drag a boy-toy behind their chopper until he's a raw, bleeding pile of hamburger. Why? Because one of their number likes him just a little too much. This wicked, weird, trashy piece of bargain-basement exploitation from gore king Herschell Gordon Lewis (Two Thousand Maniacs) leaves the details of the Man-Eaters' voracious sexual appetites offscreen but puts their bloody and bluntly violent reign of terror front and center, right down to a wild decapitation. After 10 years of filmmaking you'd think he'd develop a little style, but this is as poorly acted, clumsily edited, and utterly primitive as his earlier blood feasts. There's a cool twangy guitar score and a theme song ("Get Off the Road") that has since become a riot grrrl standard. With a little more polish it might pass as surreal, but this simultaneously campy and nihilistic slice of biker rebel hedonism is undeniably bizarre. The DVD also features commentary by Lewis, a funky short subject called Biker Beach Party from the swinging '60s, a gallery of exploitation art, and the original trailer. --Sean Axmaker Review: Watch this movie! - What this movie lacks a bit in the intellectual stimulation department, it makes up for by being a magnificent cultural relic. The cast is comprised of a real female motorcycle gang: the members of which know how to kick start a bike. Not easy -- I've done it. Check it out for changes in our culture. Note no tattoos on anyone or piercings. And a laudatory treatment of men -- if you don't like men, that is. Review: Worst acting ever!!! - I came across this movie accidently quite a few years ago on a very late-night Saturday night Camp Film Fest.I was stunned at the utter cheesiness of it,and most importantly...the "acting." It is so horrible, that you will find yourself spewing your coffee all over yourself as you choke to death laughing. This movie will absolutely appeal to the type of viewer who revels in movies such as "Eegah!;" any Ed Wood Jr. movie;and those of us who love Mystery Science Theater 3000's riffs on lousy movies.I can't believe such a cruddy movie is out on DVD,but I'm buying it!!

Did we really pay money to see these?
I'm a completist so I had to purchase this DVD for my collection. I didn't see this one when it came out, and only saw it once on a worn video tape. Story line is outrageous and in know way meant to be taking seriously (which I think even at it's release it wasn't), but well worth the price to see some old machines (bikes not the broads). I've read that most of the women in this flick actually owned the bikes they are riding and that alone makes it interesting. Can not really give a fair review of this film since my main interest in owning it is because of the bikes and the nostalgia for that time, kinda like watching the Monkees or Batman, you wanna be alone in a dark room by yourself eating junk food and trying to re-live your youth and innocence.

If you like Biker flicks, this one's for you.
What you have here is the lowest of low budget biker gang themed films with ambitions to be the lowest budget implied wannabe soft porn flick ? Plot and acting is so bad it's laughable, I got more enjoyment looking in the background at Florida in the late 60's and all the old cars and bikes versus watching the people. As one friend said.... "It's so bad it's good". I don't even think Svengoolie would air this one !!

As Entertaining As A Colonoscopy (And Not Nearly As Beneficial)
I thought I knew what a B-movie was, I really did. Being a fan of all things 60's, I grew up watching and loving movies from that era, especially the B-movies. Most of the pictures made by AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL, like "The Wild Angels," "Riot On Sunset Strip," "The Trip," "Psych-Out," and the Roger Corman-Vincent Price adaptations of the works of Edgar Allan Poe, were all favorites. Until I got my first DVD from SOMETHING WEIRD VIDEO I thought I knew what a B-movie was. After watching, or rather surviving, Herschell Gordon Lewis' femme biker blitz "She-Devils On Wheels," I now have to revise my definition of B-movie. Lewis as a director makes Corman look like Hitchcock or Kubrick. This movie stinks, pure and simple. There's a psychedelic rainbow painting of a woman on a motorcycle that pops up periodically and spins. I think the idea was to hypnotize you into believing that you were actually watching an entertaining movie. This film is populated with ugly people, ugly scenery, bad direction, and even worse acting. Even the theme song is sung by a bunch of off-key broads. The only thing that keeps you sitting through it is the hope that these witches will get their comeuppance. But, unfortunately, not only is the payoff brief and anti-climactic, you see it coming a mile away. And I doubt a jury of mentally-challenged chimpanzees would convict on that evidence. If you listen carefully you can actually hear your brain cells dying while you're watching this crap-fest. The one thing that would've saved this release would be a wealth of extras, as with most DVDs from SOMETHING WEIRD, but they're in short supply. There's commentary from director Lewis, which reveals some interesting facts about a most uninteresting film, as well as a gallery of art (minus the radio spots, which are my favorite thing about SOMETHING WEIRD). There's also the original trailer, and a short film called "Biker Beach Party." So, unless you're a biker film fanatic, my advice is ride past this one.

FUN MOVIE AND GREAT COMMENTARY
Do you know that all but one of the females are REAL BIKERS. You get that feeling when watching. Well, acters they are not!, but who cares. This is just a fun flick. Also, the bikes belong to the real bikers. There is some nice action footage. The commentary by Herschell and others is outstanding. They give you a lot of insider's info, not only on the movie, but on the problems encountered when you try to make a low budget film. Don't pass up this one, and I am trying to get Herschell's JUST FOR THE HELL OF IT. I loved the trailer.

This movie is so bad, that it's good. This film is basically Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!'s more deranged, sociopathic little sister, Queen being the Varla of the group. Though this film probably ties with Plan 9 From Outer Space in bad editing; bad acting; bad special FX; bad plot; bad location--i love this movie!! I love any late 60s cheesy B movies. Also I joked that Queen looked like Liz Taylor. I laughed a good 4 minutes after seeing the "decapitation" scene. Papier Mache head and red paint go a long way.
