It works well and hold the glass steady as you grind.

A good at holding small pieces of glass while grinding them. The jaws are a little off center, but that doesn’t affect the strength of the clamp. It just looks like it may fall apart, but hasn’t yet thank goodness.

Made smaller pieces so much easier & keeps sticker on! Life changer game changer. Wish I discovered sooner. You have to cut off the bottom long strings for it to glide like you want and I had to add a sponge since it hits higher up on the bit

The jaw-clamp strength is better than I expected, but not likely to break any glass. The rubber jaw inserts could be a bit larger to be better. The biggest problem (as indicated by the comments of many other buyers) is the the bottom of the tool is not flat. The jaw area is flat but it is not parallel with the long handle section. I had to spend some time at the belt sander slowly flattening the whole tool across the bottom. Since it's a thermoplastic, I had to go slowly to keep it from just melting and bunching up. Once flattened, it's much better and usable. The lower rubber jaw needs it's two post clipped shorter to keep them from protruding out the bottom, too. Easy to snip them shorter.

This product is perfect for small piece glass grinding. Not only does it save cuts and broken fingernails, but you are able to grind pieces too small to possibly be held by hand. Yes, you will need to remove the rubber tips on the bottom (no idea what those are there for), but after that, it will move freely. I can't believe all the years I went without this and suffered cuts and impossibly small glass pieces.
