Beth Levine Shoes

Helen Verin has managed to gather samplings of Beth Levine's innovative and inspired designs and create a book that is equal to a Levine masterpiece. I was a close friend of Beth's and through her and the Bata Shoe Museum collection I thought I had a pretty good sense of the beauty of Beth's work. Helen's collection of stories and photographs has completely awed me and I now see the complete story and the utter talent of this wonderful woman. It is easy to say that if you love shoes you will love this book - but that doesn't even come close.

My dad worked for Beth for 20 years. Was lovely to read about her background and beginnings in the industry. She definitely was a pioneer and a lovely woman.

This beautiful book is a must for those of us who appreciate the fine craftsmanship that goes into a gorgeous pair of shoes. I was fortunate to see the Beth Levine show at the Bellevue Arts Museum a few years ago and now enjoy the book. I couldn't pass up the great price, just wish I could have purchased one for a close friend. e

I had the honor to meet Mrs. Levine ...this book show how magic & beautiful was Beth in her exclusive shoes designer ..great book to have in your home to share with friends.

Although many of these shoes represented previous decades, the relevance of the designer and classic styles make this book a must have for designers.

I would love to own all the shoes in the book, unfortunately at size 12 I can only look, wonderful!!!!

More people should know about Beth Levine! I was very lucky to buy this book for mere pennies, but it is worth a lot more.
