Northside Unisex-Child Brille

These shoes have survived 10 weeks of daily summer day camp use and abuse by my son. We have also used them at the beach and on kayak/canoe outings on weekends. They run about a half-size large, which I learned from other reviews. Expecting growth during the summer months, I ordered a half-size up and they fit fine with a little toe room for growth.They have a cute design, dry quickly when you remove the soles after use, and are easy to clean with some detergent or even dish soap. Can air-dry or tumble low in the dryer with no damage. The rubber soles have gotten a bit worn down, but after heavy use it's no surprise. The only issue is it makes them a bit slippery on certain floors. Example: My son slipped in the changing room at camp while wearing them. (He was fine, save a bruise)Also, even if you air dry them daily after being used, they will STINK after a few days. Remove the soles, scrub them out and dry them thoroughly and you are good to go. At this point (week 10 of use) the rubber at the toe is beginning to pull away from the nylon/mesh shoe part. Nothing some krazy glue can't fix. And don't let your kiddo run around in these things for the entire day, mine decided not to wear his sneakers after swim time and ended up with some minor scrapes and small blisters on the sides of his feet. Most likely a combination of the fabric, lack of socks, and wetness of the shoes themselves. His fault, not the shoe.Bottom line: great shoes, good deal, able to survive the daily abuse of a 5 year old boy at day camp all summer. Recommended!

I ordered these for my daughter. They are AWESOME!! Better than any other water shoe I've ever bought for her. The only thing is that I ordered her size and they were to big. I'm not to worried because she can grow into them but did suck for the trip. But she still wore them and they worked great on sand, rocks, and grass. I really liked them! The smaller sand did get in her shoes but we just dumped them and cleaned them out before walking again.

Bought these for my purple-obsessed daughter to use at daycare when doing 'water-play.' I was a little hesitant to pay almost $20 for a pair of water shoes without having seen them, but now I am happy that I did. The quality far surpasses any of these types of shoes we've had in the past. The sole is sturdy, and my little one looks incredibly comfortable in them. I feel as though they will last a really long time. The water shoes are also really easy for a toddler to get on. They are of a much higher quality, so the fit is more like that of a sneaker than a typical water shoe that you'd find at big box stores. They also dry very quickly, and look very stylish. Very happy with this purchase.

For the price range, these appear to be sturdy water shoes for our intended purpose, which is going to amusement parks and the pool. I wouldn't recommend these for hiking or anything like that, they'd probably last for a handful of those, but for just water shoes I expect they'll last the summer. Of note, I had to exchange these because I ordered a size down (planning for them to be large) and they weren't. These are true to size, however because you have the string across the top to tighten, they are pretty wide. Also, I had asked for the aqua and lime color and ended up with a blue and yellow one...no idea but I like them nonetheless and the kiddo couldn't care less about the color.

I got these for my kid to wear to Great Wolf Lodge. They withstood the day of climbing, swimming, running, and water sliding without getting loose and floppy or the liner slipping around inside -(I hate that about cheap water shoes). They are easy to get on, and tighten to any comfort level with the slide cord on top.My 6 year old is bothered by any rubbing or scratching with her clothes, and she never complained about these shoes making her uncomfortable. I've ordered shoes before that were way too small for the size they said and was dreading that happening, but luckily when I ordered these in her current size, they were exactly right for her feet. Oh and they are super cute and look just like the picture.

These shoes are a good 'easy on' shoe for a child, but they are not very durable. It is good for a back up or outside shoe for as long as they last. They are comfortable, and if the strings are set in the correct position by an adult, the child can slip them on and off without help. The slider for the stretch laces is easy to use for an adult, but a little too hard to figure out for my three year old on his own. Because they are stretch laces with a slider, it doesn't last as long as laces (they get stretched further and further until they snap). The shoe is soft and made from a breathable cloth material.

My son, who has Autism and SPD, didn't complain about these shoes at all! He can get them on and off no problem. One downside is that they are a little big. He's a 3.5 wide and we got the 4- he was fine with it, just means we will get some more wear out of them. He wore them on a fishing boat, in the water and for short walks to and from the beach. Perfect for what we needed them for.

Honestly I don't know about the arch support question as my daughter is 3 and that is not an issue for her. But they fit well and are easy to get on and off. She has to have closed toed shoes for water day at school and she puts them on herself, I just have to tighten the bungee for her. She's worn them on the boat and all day at the beach and they give her good grip in the canoe. I would certainly recommend them.

Es medio número más grande lo que no es un problema pues mi hija crecerá, lo malo es que la punta ya se empezó a despegar y sólo lleva 1 día de uso!...

Buena calidad y muy buen precio, aunque me parece que están muy anchos, pero en gral buen producto, lo recomiendo!
