Wax Stamper - Fleur De Lis

I purchased this Fleur De Lis stamper to help authenticate the look of a victorian-era love letter I created for a murder mystery game party I hosted. After printing the letter on high-quality resume paper, I soaked both paper and envelope into a tea/coffee/water mixture, and dried them in the oven at low temperature. This helped give the letter the "aged" effect I was looking for. To take this project to the next level, I used a red candle wax to seal the envelope, and used the stamper to add the logo.Unfortunately, after each stamping attempt (I made multiple letters/envelopes for trial-and-error), the logo did not come out as legible and bold as I had expected. In fact, the logo was not very noticeable once dried. Either I was using the wrong wax, or the design of the Fleur-De-Lis log is not recessed enough. But overall, this stamper is very well made. I will be purchasing another type of wax and attempt this again, hoping that it was my error and not a design flaw.

Perfect for my save the dates. It was a huge game changer to the asethetic appeal of my envelopes.

I like witting personal letters & thank you notes with an old fashioned dip pen & ink then sealing them with wax so i new I'd love it before I bought it. note to anyone who try's this put the sealing wax on the paper in the envelop. if its on the envelop it will get messed up in the mail.

This press is well crafted and solid. It was really easy to make perfect seals with minimal effort. I'd recommend it for any special occasion. Wax seals look great and this one embosses perfectly

So pretty! I love it and it comes out so clearly in the wax. It looks best if used with a shimmery wax, especially silver and gold :)
