Works for me.
I use them as voltage regulators - to drop voltage 0.7 volts, each. For motor power voltage in remote control toys. Put them in series with the motors and batteries - to reduce the battery voltage.

Where else to buy?
Needed one 10 amp 400 v. Could not find at Frye's online. Looks exactly like broken one, but 1000 v. So cheap, Amazon Prime delivery so fast and convenient. Hope 1st one will be all I need to repair leaf blower that no longer has repair parts.

Good Diode
Worked as expected. Pretty basic component. Does its job and has not failed. Wish they sold them in small quantities and I did not need so many.

Work well, great value
I bought these diodes to work in conjunction with micro switches to act as limit switches on my motorized skylight. The diodes are required to stop current flow at the end of travel when the micro switch is tripped. The diodes work well and were easy to install. I used female spade connectors for the electrical connections. It's only been a few days but so far all is working well. Great value, about 30 cents per diode!

Worked great
Broke diode off stator (alternator) connector on my riding mower while replacing starter. Tried to solder it back but overheated and ruined it. Stator was good so I replaced the diode with 1 of these and worked perfectly. Saved buying a $90 stator and this diode is higher rating too.
