Electric Stapler, 70 Sheet Capacity, Heavy Duty, Jam Free Stapling, Includes 5000 Staples, Black (69270)

This is my second stapler. The first one still works but the hammer probably needs replacing. On the new one the hammer is too high and the bottom two sheets hang and do not staple unless I am very careful. I will contact the company after tax season about this problem and see if they can replace the hammer on the old stapler and possibly replace the new stapler.

I tried to contact amazon directly, but all it wanted me to do was return. I do not want to return the product... When the product was delivered the deliver guy said, " Oh be careful because this product flew out of the box onto the ground!" This is an expensive stapler that was in shambles in the box. The stapler still worked, but had scratches. I did not send back because I desperately needed it, but Swingline could do better about their packaging. There was ZERO tape holding this box together. I felt sorry for the delivery guy because he was at a loss as how to explain the scratches.

i would have to agree with teh other reviews, is not as durable as i thought, for more than household use. we broke one and had to ahve it replaced, but the second one is so far, so good... CLiff

I finally broke down and purchased an electric stapler for my office. I can't believe I waited so long to get one. It saves me so much time!!! No more pulling staples out of papers and trying over and over again to get them to go through!!! Best purchase ever!!

I've gone through two of these now and one of the less expensive models and paying close to full retail around $400 for each of these. They last about a year, then they start misfiring the staples until it won't staple properly at all, if at all... I'm done with this brand. I kept sticking with it, but I'm the foolish one thinking I was to blame for the initial problems with the first two. Three times and, well... you know the saying...

I've had Swingline 5000 for over 25 years i have 3 for different business location and home. This one staples 70 docs together without a problem. It's not the same size almost twice as big. But also does not have an adapter. Direct plug in. I definitely recommend This Swingline!

We own 5 electric staplers. This is the best Easy-to-use and setup. 75 pages no problem. My employee would quit if I took it away.

It did NOT come with a preloaded staple cartridge like it said! I still haven't gotten it to staple no matter how many times I've torn an inch off and reloaded the cartridge. I've used about two feet total of wasted staples trying to get it to staple!! Maybe that's why it didn't come preloaded. They couldn't get it to work either!!!!
