Nicely made, perfectly functional.
While I'm not a professional machinist, I have found this tool post to be a really nice, well made fully functional tool. I have this mounted on a 1948 Logan lathe. It works beautifully.

Machined out of solid steel and are great quality for the price.
Love the heavy duty construction of this tool post and tool holders. They are not light and flimsy whatsoever and they are machined out of solid steel and not aluminum. The whole kit came with the quick change toolpost and 5 different adjustable tool holders that are also machined out of solid steel. The quality is great for the price! I would recommend this to anyone who uses a smaller metal lathe daily. The lathe I purchased these for has a 10" swing so these are perfect for use with my lathe.

Purchased to use on a Smithy Granite 1324 machine and ...
Purchased to use on a Smithy Granite 1324 machine and required some fabrication to make it work: 1. I purchased a 3/4” x 6” medium tool steel hex bolt from Home Depot (see 01-Standard Unmodified Bolt v Accusize Bolt.jpg) 2. The bolt was faced and turned-down to fit the Smithy and main Accusize assembly (see 02A-02C Modified Bolt pictures) 3. The bolt was heat treated to increase hardness (see 03-Heat Treated Modified Bolt (w Accusize Nut).jpg) 4. A mount plate was fabricated to provide standoff and orientation to Smithy and lock rotation-ensuring alignment of Accusize assembly. (see 04-Mount Plate.jpg) 5. Fully assembled solution (see 05A-05B Assembly pictures) IMPORTANT TO NOTE: The threads on the bolt are NOT M14 x 1.5, but rather 9/16-18 NF (the same thread type as standard size for lug nuts!) Works amazingly well- instant order of magnitude in rigidity and quality of finish- well worth the investment

Good value for the money.
Overall I'm pleased with the newly installed unit. The tool post has a nice finish to it and mating surfaces look pretty good. The handle operates fairly easily. The tool holders supplied all have a nice black finish and clean mating surfaces with nice edge chamfers. The adjustment nuts spin easily and the spring washers make locking the adjustment easy. Others have mentioned soft set-screws in the holders but thus far they seem to be holding up for me. Easy to replace if needed and not an uncommon complaint on Chinese gear. Speaking of, I purchased this over the other similar unit on Amazon partly because "CHINA" was not printed in bold all over it. I would go 5 stars but the handle does interfere with the the use of the 2nd position of the tool-post. When completely released the handle blocks the removal of the holder from that position. Not a huge deal, but an annoyance. The handle is pretty cheap feeling and I'll probably try my hand at making up a replacement. On my 10" swing lathe the holders need 0.050" removed from the bottom to allow 1/2" tools to get on-center before landing on the top of the compound. Any tool size less than 1/2" would not require any modification, but I like to use the beefiest tool I can get away with. The post seems solid and heavy cuts can be taken without chatter. This is not Aloris quality, but it is not Aloris price either. Given my lathe is a Grizzly 10x22 an Aloris is lipstick on a pig anyway.

Should have bought one years ago.
I bought the AXA style, and it works great on my South Bend 9A. A major upgrade from the old lantern style tool post, much more rigid, and tool changes are quick and accurate.

The product came nicely packaged in boxes
I recently bought this qctp to install on an old South Bend 9" to replace the old lantern style tool post that came with the lathe. It is about the right size for this machine. The product came nicely packaged in boxes, but it had clearly been opened at some point. All of the tool holders but one had been opened from the plastic, and most of the adjustment nuts and set screws were gone. A generous coat of oil covered everything, and the finish is pretty good. As others have reported, the T-nut comes in a solid block for you to machine for your lathe. I used the lathe to make the t-nut. Whatever mystery metal they used for the blank is of varying hardness/quality. It did finish out OK, and I made it a very snug fit. All the machining seems pretty decent, but the "wedge" mechanism isn't very smooth...have to cam over the release and come back to get the tool holder off. This will never be confused with an Aloris or Dorian, but it functions ok. The cut off tool did not come with a blade, but that may have been taken when someone robbed the adjustment nuts and set screws. The knurling tool comes with ill-fitting wheels that are basically junk. I haven't used it enough to determine how good repeatability is, but it seems very good so far. I'm content with this unit for what I need it to do. Very disappointing that my package had been returned and/or opened prior to shipping. Too much hassle to return over cheap hardware. Better quality than I expected for a Chinese knock off, but nothing amazing.

Nice product
For the money this is a good post with accessories. I have used it for quite a few hours using the boring bar and turning. If you are looking for a 1000.00 post in this then buy the 1000.00 dollar post, this isn’t it BUT! this held true to just under half a thou in 33 inches turning taking 10 off on on a single cut. That said I’m pretty picky with setup and shimming to ensure a true stable piece of equipment so this will only be as good as your setup will let it be 😁

Nice quality tool post set.
I have worked as a machinist for over 40 years. I have used aloris and dorian tool post on a number of different lathes. This tool post set is really nice for the money.

The tool arrive well packaged with no scratches or dings. The finish is quite good and the tool holder fit the post solidly and securely. I dismantled the tool post to examine the hidden workmanship and found it quite good for the price point. I tested it on my cheap Chinese lathe by parting off a piece of 1 1/2 steel. The cut was made without any instability in the tool. I think it is very good for the price.

Very nice. A huge improvement over the old antique setup.

I had to cut 0.125” to get underneath the center line, but that’s why I bought a lathe. Works great other than that.

Really happy ! Very solid and well worth every penny ! Much larger than I expected but thats a good thing. Had to custom make the T-nut but they send a nice piece to machine it out of. Could have carefully done it with a saw or grinder but cnc works best obviously.
