There are a wide range of reviews so I'll try to gap this some. know what you're buying, for the price point this is exactly what you should expect. its a good display piece, it can be a good larp/costume piece but probably will need a little work. like may I had some sharp edges and rivets that needed filing. my head is pretty big so i had to do some bending, but metal, especially this gauge is very forgiving and you can flex it a good bit. the pin that holds it closed no longer hit its hole once it was big enough for my noggin but again this is not a "use" piece. It is not the item exactly in the photo that is one thing i don't like, stop using stock photo from someone else, but every one of these on amazon uses this photo. the design originator left a review on one seller, so I checked his site. over $2k for the helm. so take it in stride this is a $60 knock off but it works just fine for what it is. The company was fast to reply to my issue (mine was damaged on arrival) and took care of my issue fast an friendly like.

I think this is a great helmet for the money. I was looking for something smaller than some other helmets and with a chin strap. This one is pretty much exactly what I wanted. In my pics, you can see the helmet is large enough to fit over a chain coif and a collared gorget. And it is short enough to not clang against the gorget too much, providing a decent range of motion. I like the style of the helmet as well. It's basically exactly as pictured in the product description. I do have a couple of minor complaints, hence the 4 stars. Mine came with a couple of discolored spots. I can likely buff them out with carbide sandpaper. The cross cut-out in the visor is not fully cut out in places, leaving sharp metal burrs. I will fix that with my Dremel. And finally, the visor doesn't really stay up well, being fairly loose. So if you raise it to eat, don't tilt your head too far forward. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase.

this is a pretty heavy duty an nice helm you can tell it its kind of cheaply made but for the price it's a pretty good deal like people said it did come covered in oil which was a little annoying but it wasn't too hard to clean its going to go perfect for my Ren fair costume

The helmet itself looks and feels very nice. However in the pictures there is a pin on the visor to lock it in place. But the one I got has that pin way more forward and the hook for the pin is huge. It makes this helmet look horrible. Also the hook isn’t in a hook shape so a little giggle unlocks it.

Metal sheet thickness contributes the helmet durability last. The prize perfect. What need to improves is the strapping and steadiness the helmet is not going to the head direction motion when head turns left the helmet not helmet stay where it was, when head look up and down and head back straight helmet is either half way down or upward.

Wow just wow, great product, well made, heavy duty steel, fits great and I’ve got a huge melon. Great add to my collection...well worth the price.

my helmet was decent, its comfortable, very nice look, and seems sturdy. my issues are mainly just how it was packed, it came in a normal amazon box with some bubble wrap and that was it, and the box was heavily damaged, the damage was so bad that i am truly surprised my helmet wasn't destroyed, another issue is that there are a few black spots on it, and the clip that keeps the visor down needs to grind against the visor to lock it. overall it is a good helmet, dont get me wrong but there are a few issues i have with it

It looks cool on my shelf. It didn’t order it to wear so it’s really not that comfortable but why should it be? Who the hell is going into battle? Sturdy and attractive. That’s all you need to know

Correct mais sans plus. je donne 2 étoiles mais +1 étoile car il est pas cher... il est arrivé grafigner a quelques endroits, la visière noir,... la peinture s’enlève juste en passant a peine son doigts... très petit mais pour le prix ca fait un bon casque pour mettre sur une tablette.

Excellent service & the quality is fantastic , didn't think it would be so good for the price.
