Great ball for toy destroyers!
She is the master of toy destroying, her jaws always need to be at work haha. This ball has lasted WAY longer than any toy I ever got for her and it’s still alive! The only thing I notice is paws might get raw from long play but overall it’s an amazing ball and good for high energy dogs. Easy to clean you can rinse off with water or wash with a-little dawn dish soap to get the grime off. Patches is a 70lbs Pitbull

Durable
This is the best ball I have gotten for my boxer!! She has had it 3 months and it is still going strong. She would go through other balls in a day or weeks. If you want a ball that truly withstands torture and abuse this is the ball for your pet. I will never purchase anything other than this again.

A MUST HAVE for your active dogs.
We have had one of these balls for each of our 4 pittbulls for 8 years now. I mean, they are obsessed and look forward to playing with them 2 to 3 times a day - EVERY day! We have to peel them away each time. The balls sit in our lover field all year long! Finally, after all this time, we are down to 2 balls (and sadly, just 2 dogs as well), we need to replace them. Compare this to any other ball that literally lasts 5-10 minutes in our house! The balls got cracks in them from so much throwing around at all different temperature ranges over the years. HOW WE USE THEM: Some of the dogs chase their ball - pushing it around with their nose and totally yelling at it (hilarious!), some just want to horde their ball and lick it obsessively. At times, the dogs try to bite it - making ‘scratches’ in the plastic - which we just occasionally sand down with a hand-held orbital sander and 80 grit sandpaper to smooth it out some. The dogs LOVE LOVE LOVE when you interact with them and the ball. Aside from throwing it, we also lightly kick it around (with heavy hiking shoes to protect your feet) like soccer - but are always mindful of not kicking it to their face or body so they don’t get hurt. This is great fun for the younger and more athletic dogs. One of our dogs keeps a smaller squishy-ball in his mouth while playing soccer’. Our older dog likes when I play ‘tag’. This is a game where I announce ‘tag’ each time I lightly tap the ball toward him. This way he knows it’s coming and the game is for him to move out of the way so it doesn’t touch him. It took about 3 months for us to learn this game together. We also play ‘keep-away’ (good for middle-age and older dogs). In this game I announce ‘keep-away’ so the dog knows to chase me for the ball. I tap it away from them (not going very far) and they try to get in front of the ball. When they do, I turn and tap the ball away in the other direction. This is much less ‘active’ than the soccer play but still lets the dog be a part of the play time. I often mix this with the ‘tag’ game; switching back and forth between the two. They are so smart and can totally keep up! Hope this is helpful to people with active dogs. For pitbull parents: We have found these balls really help them get out all of that energy! We are volunteers in a pitbull rescue for 13 years now and have had 5 of our own. Some rescue dogs want nothing to do with the balls and some get WAY too focused on the ball … so it’s good to introduce them to it in a yard with no other dog and only if you already know they are not prone to resource-guarding and aggressive behavior. Anyway, only negative thing to say about the ball is that the customer can’t pick the color. Like, what the heck! Orange is best for our dogs but the new ones came red. Not enough contrast with the grass, IMO. I’m trying not to be disappointed but honestly, I am. This change is actually quite huge for our gang. UPDATE: our dogs have now taken to the new red balls with the same enthusiasm as the old orange balls. I also wanted to share that the smaller balls they prefer to have in their mouth while interacting with me and these hard balls is the “ ZippyPaws ZippyTuff Waggle Ball” but be sure to get the 3.5” ball NOT the bigger one.

Hands-off zoomie inducer but eventually surface scratches nose.
My 2yo lab/border collie wears himself OUT with this toy in just a few minutes. Pushing it with his nose, the ball get up to his top speed and is so fun to watch getting maneuvered as he sprints ahead to redirect. He’s taken to barking at it the whole time, emphasizing his directions over the “stray.” Instead of lugging it back and forth everyday, we decided to donate it to our local dog park. It’s certainly not for every dog, some will push it a little but but it holds interest for just a few of the more curious ones. My one complaint is that the plastic gets scratched from rocks and the ground in general, which I can only imagine scrapes up Tuckers sensitive nose and I’ve noticed a waning of interest in pushing it for more than one run across the field any more. Had it over a year now so it’s surface is rather rough but the ball itself hold its shape and I can’t imagine it’ll be destroyed any time soon.

Received An Unfinished Defective Ball With Horrid Gaps In The Seem
I purchased a 6 in ball and a 10 inch ball in the past. These were perfectly and completely rounded with no gaps in the seem and no gashes. And I am still extremely happy with the 6 and 10 inch balls but I am very disappointed that I was sent this 8 inch ball I just purchased that I received today it is defective with gaps in the seem and it is unfinished. It looks as though the two parts of the ball were glued or welded together very unprofessionally with indents and deep visible gaps and adding to this there is a gash on the side. This ball is not cheap and I am so disappointed that I paid for a ball that is defective which I don't believe will last very long as the seems appear as though would split due to quality control not checking this item and ensure I received a perfectly finished 8 inch ball that is not defective. I know this is not how these ball should look because as I said above I purchased a 6 inch and 10 inch ball last year and the year before and they were perfectly rounded with no gashes or indented seems and the both have lasted until now with no issues and they are still going strong but this 8 in. ball that I just received is lopsided with a gapped rim half way around the ball where the other half is perfect. This 8 inch ball is defective. I'm so upset because my dog, Snookums, has been waiting for his ball and was so excited to receive it only to find that the ball is not perfect like the first ball I bought but rather put together incorrectly and probably will not last due to this. I'm so upset. PLEASE HELP to resolve this issue fast so my dog can be happy again. It's terrible to pay so much for a ball only to find you were sent a defective item. Quality control should have checked this item before sending it. I'm so disappointed. To update, I requested a return explaining the above. The return process is simple. I was sent another 8 in. ball a couple of days later. The replacement is also not perfect also with an unfinished rim/seem half way around, but it is a lot better than the one am now supposed to return. No one apologized for the first unfinished ball and no one reached out to me. The process of returning for a replacement is all automated via bots with no real people getting back to you and as it appears the replacement item is also not checked by quality control because it was not perfect too, but it is much better and my dog will not scratch his face as much while chasing it like the first 8 in ball scratched his face. I suppose to return the defective ball by the 28th or I will be charged for the replacement. I have decided to throw away the defective ball which I have photographed to show it's defects because I'm afraid if I return this defective ball it will just go back into circulation via automation and someone else's dog will be hurt from it which I don't want to take responsibility for. I would feel terrible if I sent it back and they just tried to sell it again to some unsuspecting customer so I will bite the bullet and I will cover the extra charge to save the same aggravation someone else would have to experience. As I said above I have purchased a 6 and 10 in h ball in the past and they are perfectly rounded with perfectly finished rims/seems that are smooth and not dangerous for my dogs and these are still going strong so in conclusion there is probably an issue with their 8 inch balls. End of the day I'm stuck with a scrap 8 inch ball which I will throw away and a half way decent 8 inch ball which I have now given to Snookums, my beloved pooch all now costing me $36 to be stuck with a second ball that's better but still not perfect.

dog loves it but dented significantly it in a few minutes of play
It was such a pleasure to see my son's Presa Canario dog's joy at receiving this 14 inch ball . She immediately began to wrestle it and loved it. She and her Malinois/Shepherd buddy have destroyed many balls. I hope this one lasts, particularly at the price for a 14 inch ball!. I purposedly avoided the brand with a plug because I didn't want anything with an indentation that they could get a grip on. This is hard plastic and heavy. My son had to take it away after a few minutes because she was getting tired. My son thanked me for doing my research and getting a ball that is hard to destroy. May it be so. I got the 10 inch ball for my 37 lb border collie. She has almost no interest in it. I can't get her to play with it. It is very heavy, hard and large. I wish I had gotten a smaller size. My shepherd/Malinois really likes it, and wants to play with it but can no longer walk, so it is frustrating for her. Her brother who loves balls hasn't shown any interest in the 14 inch ball so far, but that may be because the Presa Canario has taken possession of it. Update: My son called me this morning. (I gave him the ball last night.) He and his dog are having a great time playing with this ball. He is thrilled the dog is having so much fun. He is playing with her this morning and in a short time she has already put large dents in the ball. He says one is about the size of a baseball!!! Argh!! This is sort of like drugs, they are ecstatic for a short, costly time! My son is very happy and thinks it is totally worth it. I am frustrated that I didn't find a ball that would stand up to a large dog and paid so much for it. They are not getting the collie ball I have ordered! His dogs have already popped the horse ball I gave him for the horses. Bottom line, this ball is not close to indestructible, but it is fun for the right dog for a while. This is ridiculous!

Perfect Purchase for Our High Energy Herding Breed Dog
It took my Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix a week or two to figure out what to do with this thing. It's kind of heavier than you might expect and very hard. However, o ce wmshe figured out how to "herd" it around the yard, it wuickly became ger absolutely favorite toy. She will wear herself out nosing and chasing this ball around the yelard at full speed for long stretches. She gets fantastic exercise out of it, and she will sit longingly at the door when she wants to go out and chase this thing. Before she learned how to control it, it used to frequently fall 4 feet from the yard into our walkout basement pit straight onto the concrete. It has held up without issue. This is a rare perfect purchase for our dog. She absolutely loves it, even after many months of near daily obsessive play, it's durable, and it was inexpensive.
