Merrell Products are truly great!
Well made shoes. Easy on and off. Very protective and supportive. I use them for around the house and if I need to go somewhere they carry me on walks and trail hikes in comfort and style. Great all around shoe for up to and including moderate paved or graveled trail walking. Perfect for what they are designed for and a bit beyond as well. Merrell builds shoes right. For me, my 4 different styles of Merrell's have been what has kept me going, greatly reducing knee pain, foot and ankle pain. And since I can walk correctly it has also reduced lower back pain. I can trail hike for long distances again...nearly pain free and never wondering if I can walk the trail back home. I always make it back. Thank you Merrell for sticking to old fashioned honesty in crafting your shoes and for keeping them scientifically up to date as well You have my deepest gratitude and respect.

Great Shoes!
I bought these for husband several years ago. We have since continued to purchase as each pair wears out. He loves the comfort, durability and style.

Comfortable and easy to slip on on the go.
Great fit. Comfortable. Easy to slip on. They stay on while hiking and working outdoors. I keep two pairs; one pair for a camp/outside work shoe and one to wear at my job. Smelled a little funky for the first few weeks of wearing them but it went away. I will buy more when these wear out b

Great shoes. Fit big feet. Comfortable. Don't feel like clogs/slippers.
Edit to add: These do have horrible traction in wet/snow. Use extreme caution on wet floors, and just don't wear if it's snowy/icy. I'm removing 1 star for that, because I had to get a different pair of shoes for bad weather. (Telluride Moc, which are better for traction, but not as comfortable.) That said, I'm on my 3rd pair of these, and for regular office work, they're great. Original: Why did I not buy these sooner? TL;DR: Great shoes. Fit big feet. Comfortable. Don't feel like clogs/slippers. I am someone who values my time and..... oh hell... I'm lazy. I slip my shoes off by holding down the heel with the other foot, and put them on before leaving for work by sticking my foot back in. As such, I tend to destroy the heels of all my shoes. (I'm a computer tech, so I mostly wear sneakers or "casual" shoes) For years I'd thought about getting these sort of shoes, and for years I'd held off because I have huge feet (15) and usually only new balance fit my foot correctly without a break-in period. I can now say there's an exception to that rule. I got the 14s of these the first time around, because people said they ran big. Not so. 14 was too small, so I went to 15, and they're perfect. They also have arch support that at first felt weird, but now feels like something I don't know how I lived without. They have also felt like a broken-in pair since the first (maybe second) day I wore them. If I have any complaint, it's that they pick up a TON of sand/salt/ice/snow in the tread and keep dropping it for a good half hour once you get to your destination in winter. At home I take off my shoes at the door, but I notice it at work when my chair is crunching over sand from the parking lot. Most importantly, however, I've been wearing these for a couple weeks now, all day, every day, and they still slip on and off with ease, but don't feel floppy on my feet when I'm walking over weird terrain. If I had any wish, I guess it'd be that they make a pair with mesh in the toe area. They do get a little warm at times, but I don't see an easy way to do that with the design. Overall.... well, I guess the fact that I'm planning to buy a second pair speaks for itself.

great shoe
Very comfortable, supportive and good looking. Easy slip on and off. Sturdier than sketchers. I've worn both but this is like my 6th pair of merrell mocs! Below is my Merrell rack at this house

Great for snow covered roads
The size is right on and the shoe is very sturdy. I like the look of the shoe and the tread gives good traction on ice covered roads. The slip on style is convenient. I thought the price was fair for a good quality shoe.

These do a lot; Comfortable and capable.
Merrill hikers fit me right out of the box. I like these Jungle Mocs because we don't wear shoes in our house and I can slip these on and off as I work in the garden and come inside. As I get older I appreciate being able to wear these without bending over to put them on and lace them every time. I never intended to wear these hiking but two months ago, I met my sibling for a hike. I meant to take these off and switch to regular Merrill hikers before leaving home but again, getting older, I forgot and didn't realize it until reaching the trailhead. Thought I was gonna have a bad day and sore feet or slip and fall etc. SURPRISE- I had a nice hike and my feet felt just fine. This was not a big hike, just 3-4 miles but the Colorado ground was hard and gravelly with a decent elevation gain> Bottom line is you can use these for mild hiking but I still think normal laced hikers are better choice if you are doing some elevation or harsh terrain. Around town these are VERY good. My second pair. The first pair that I am writing about are still good enough and I have used them fairly hard. Washing the car, rotating tires, working the garden and putting them on and off without a shoe horn. They are durable and comfortable to walk in. One more thing: When they were newer I used them to travel. I could wear the to dinner in the evening and walk around and explore new towns in the day time. Not tuxedo wear but dressed nice for semi formal dinners
