Excellent choice for older HVAC systems with no 'C' wire. Easy install with provided instructions and included parts. Works great! This is a thermostat that does not include a built-in thermometer display, so if you want that try a different model.

Works as advertised works on heating or cooling. Installed one on my mother's air conditioner and 1 in my garage for my overhead heater , they work very well.

I have used this thermostat for several years and have found it trouble-free. After trying out a Nest thermostat and not liking it, I purchased another one. Unfortunately, it was defective, and Honeywell didn't seem to support this model. Frustrated, I initiated a return, and Amazon promptly sent me another one. I compared the two, and I could clearly see the problem, which was obviously a result of poor quality control. The replacement works perfectly and I expect many years of use from it. I am a licensed electrician.

Remember to pull out the paper battery block so it will work. I paid the heating and cooling guy $100 to come out and show me that part of the instructions that I missed. My mistake. Swapping from this unit from the Nest Unit cut my heating and cooling bills by 25%. The Nest does not maintain cool enough temperatures in the summer or enough heat in the winter. When it tries to heat or cool it can never catch up. So sweat in the summer and freeze in the winter. Then the Nest picks your temperature and can not be over ridden. Save money and be comfortable with this unit. Run the Nest over with the tractor to get back at it for all the money it wasted and discomfort it caused.

Great simple to use worked for my furnace

I am using this thermostat to control a 12VDC relay which is controlling a high voltage/current relay in the fan circuit. Has been working fine so far.

I'm a HVAC contractor, this is not a good quality thermostat. I had to make a jumper inside the terminals in order to make it work.
