Playskool Mr. Potato Head Movin' Lips Electronic Interactive Talking Toy for Kids Ages 3 & Up

I ordered two of these for my classroom for free choice time thinking they were standard Potato Heads that could also talk... You can switch out the arms and hat, but with the talking mechanism you lose storage in his back. It's fun to get him started talking and then take the magnetic mouth off and make him mumble the rest of the sentence. Pro hint: If it's too loud, just put some scotch tape over the speaker holes! A layer or two should work, and tell the kids they'll break it if they take the tape off (not true, but it'll save your sanity).

I looked everywhere for this dang tater! My son had asked for one for two Christmases in a row. I gave up looking in stores and went with Amazon. It arrived in perfect condition and he loves his tater! The lips are a tad annoying as is the volume. It should have been made with a volume adjustment and the lips need some work. They drop off when he is singing. But he is happy so I don't care!

Kids love this silly toy. Great price and so much more fun than the standard potato head. I would buy again to gift to other kids

I got this for my grandkids. They’re 1 and 4 . There’s a magnet on the talking mouth you will have to move the mouth around the face until it actually attaches to the face. I think my 4 year old grand will have more use with this than the 1 year old. I’m hoping she’s not going to be to scared of it. But the package it came in was great. All the pieces were there. And also there is no storage like the original Mr. Potato Head. Because that’s where the batteries go, and the shoes don’t come off. Just the arms, ears, nose, eyes and his hat. You can use the other pieces from the original Potato Head on this one just can’t use the legs or shoes. But all in all I was satisfied with my purchase.

My son loves his potato head. He does have some other ones and we are able to switch out the features (just not the mouth part). I did rate this at 4 star and not 5 just because there is no storage.This potato head does not have body storage so we just keep him abd his mouths in a plastic ziplock. It would be awesome if there was somewhere more secure to place his mouth since thats the gem as the moving parts and they are removable (therefore easily lost). The potato head would not work well without the mouth. Its a cute toy though and my son loves it.

This toy is so cool. The lips attach to a maganect a move all around while talking. You can use all your attachments with this except your original mouth pieces

He is fun to listen to - both talking and singing. His parts come apart just like other Potato Heads, but having the voice with it just adds to the fun. It's easy to turn off and on. I haven't had it long enough to see how the battery lasts, but I just turn it on now and then. If I had kiddies here a lot, it would get more use. Only one grandchild lives near me, but she thought it was hilarious. Me, too.

I bought this for my 2-yr old who loves Toy Story. She liked this at first but hasn't played with it in a while - she went back to the original Mr. Potato head she had. I think the reason being is that not all of the parts on this Potato head are removable, and she likes taking the body parts off and putting them back in. Additionally, the mouth on this Potato head is attached by a magnet, that comes off easily. And it's not easy enough for her to put back on (you have to move the mouth around until you find the magnet and they connect).
