Dance Class Unisex-Child Olivia One-Piece Ballet Flat

Ordered these for my daughter's first ballet class for 5 and 6 year olds. She complained right away about the strap hurting her foot. It does land in an odd spot right where your foot connects with your leg instead of farther down on the top of your foot. The band is pretty tight, and is uncomfortable. The shoe itself fit correctly for the size; she wears a 12 1/2 and a 12 1/2 fit. Because it was a beginner's class, she only wore them for an hour. I'm not sure if she could withstand the band for a few hours. She has wide feet so the shoes were slightly narrow. They are ballet shoes so pretty flat on the bottom. Not really for someone with foot problems who would need arch support.

This shoe was a good purchase for my daughter. She is taking dance for the first time and I wanted a good shoe that was affordable. This is exactly what I received. I took the advice of another review and bought a size bigger than what she typically wears. Her regular shoes are a size 12 and I purchased a 13.5 and it is a really good fit and 12 would have surely been too small. These are great shoes to get your little dancer started!

I first purchased the 5.5 M US Toddler size for my daughter. She wears a 5 or 5 1/2 in a normal shoe. They were way too small! I returned them and got a 6.5 M US Toddler size, and they are perfect! The shoes that she could have gotten through her dance teacher would have been the same price. However, her teacher likes these better than the ones that she gets! She says that these are softer leather and the elastics are the proper length. I will be sticking with this brand!

These ballet slippers arrived on time. The only problem I had with them was that they were very small! My granddaughter wore a shoe size of 13 1/2 so I purchased size 1. Very, very tight!. Gave the slippers to younger granddaughter who is 4 yrs old & will grow into them!

I bought these shoes for my daughters ballet class 2 sizes too big thinking they would fit. Wrong! You have to buy them 3 sizes too big. They are quality ballet shoes, but the size 13 I ordered were smaller than the size 11 that she currently was wearing. I had to go to Payless to buy here a pair of ballet slippers. Be careful if you buy these ballet shoes!

I'm new to dance shoes so this might be the norm, but I think these run small. I bought these for my 3 year old daughter and she normally wears an 8 but couldn't move her toes in these. I'd go up a size bigger.

Well my daughter wears a size 7 shoe so I purchased a 8.5 in the ballet shoe and it was too small. However the service and delivery were great. I will purchase a bigger size probably a 10.5 seeing that they run really small.

The shoes look well made, but the sizing runs very small. My daughter wears a ten and half or eleven, and could not fit into the size eleven shoe! The coloring is also more tan than pink.We will be returning these shoes. I replaced them with the bunny hop shoes which are true to side and a very pretty pink.
