First impression is...Wow, this is nice! I was really just expecting a flimsy piece of acrylic that would be a pain in the neck to use over minis. But I am very pleased. It is thicker clear acrylic, with raised printing showing spell ranges. And very easy to work with! I will be using this with beginner players so it is a great teaching tool as well. 5 Stars!

It's an amazing product. The lettering and numbers are printed clearly and easy to read, as are the lines annotating dimensions. It's very sturdy, as I was expecting a very thing piece of plastic that would bend if not completely supported. Instead I got a solid plastic disk that I can hold above a battle mat and easily judge dementions of a spell effect. I can't wait to use it in all my campaigns and will definitely be recommending it to my other DM friends.

After watching Critical Role for a while now, I decided it was time to up my game as a DM. I wanted to get an AOE template, but there are a lot to choose from. I liked that this one had a much longer cone of effect than any of the others I saw. It just arrived and I can say, I chose wisely. It was a great price, has superior quality, and covers just about any effect you can imagine. It also came with a nice case to keep it in so it doesn’t get scratched in storage. I highly recommend this product for any RPG players out there!

Who plays DnD and not cast fireball? If you have any aspiring pyromaniac or someone who wants to just watch the world burn then you need this in your DnD arsenal. Clear, sturdy and has different measurements for different attacks making it easy to use and helps players get a view where they are hitting with spells. A must have for groups!

Sturdy and practical, very helpful for live RP. It would be perfect if it went to 30ft but honestly it captures most of the main D&D spells/abilities just fine. I like that it came with a bag to carry it and a cloth to wipe it with.

A player as well as a D&D 5th ed DM, I love this area of effect (AoE) template. It has all the features of other AoE grids but it's rectangular, which I prefer (also allowing 4 grids to be combined for very large areas). It is thick and feels good in the hand (NO, don't go there!). That said, my players aren't impressed and prefer to continue using their own beat-up opaque plastic rulers (no accounting for taste, I guess). Additionally, it attracts fur, hair, and other small bits of detritus susceptible to static electricity (particularly bad in winter). It came with a flimsy plastic storage sleeve of dubious value since it seems to attract grit instead of repel it, and it doesn't offer much protection from impact or crushing damage. It really needs to live in a bubble-wrap envelope stabilized with heavy cardboard (*begins searching through her unfortunately large pile of Amazon delivery envelopes...*). It also came with a microfiber polishing cloth which works great...but does not negate the static electricity charge, so detritus is still attracted to it immediately after wiping off your fingerprints. So far the plastic remains free of any scratches, but I don't use it that often, so YMMV. I would definitely recommend this AoE template to friends!

This is a fantastic tool for TTRPGs. I love how compact it is, and you can even sort of use it like a compass to roughly draw lines if you're careful.

I have played D&D and Pathfinder for many years. For many years, me and my group were hesitant to use miniatures just for how boring we found tracking all the different things. One such thing has to do with the areas of effect of spells. This area template has worked wonder in the latest adventures I have run. It is an easy way to find out how things affect the characters and monters. The template comes in a nice bag with a cloth to clean finger marks on it. It is solid and sturdy. I recommend it to any player or GM who is interested in making their games go smoother. I know it is not an ultra necessary tool, but it is just helpful.

On peut jouer a un jeu de rôle type D&D ou pathfinder, avec juste un tableau blanc, des marqueurs et des jetons en carton, ou jouer avec des figurines imprimées et peintes, avec des décors… Mais quand on doit évaluer l'effet d'un sort, que ce soit une zone d'effet ou un cône, ca reste généralement au doigt mouillé, ou avec une précision approximative. La plaque en plexi est gravée et avec des informations de différentes couleurs pour faciliter la lisibilité, et se range dans une pochette en feutrine très pratique pour limiter les rayures lors du transport Les mesures et zones d'effets et portées sont en pouces, il faudra faire la conversion pour les mètres. Avec cet accessoire, on peut le poser sur la table ou au dessus de la figurine et avoir une vue immédiate : qu'est ce qui est touché par le sort ou pas ! Le système est hyper simple et lisible, et apporte un confort certain, que ce soit pour le MJ ou les joueurs : pas de mauvaise foi, les figurines sont placées, ca touche, ou pas. Si seulement j'avais eu cet outil avant !

Brilliant little thing, perfect for measuring the different spells aoe effects. And also for simple distance shots, both spells and ranged attacks. Comes in a neat felt pocket for safe keeping and even with a microfiber cloth to clean it. Thick sturdy plastic. Recommended!

Exactly as advertised. Easy to use, not too big. Covers up to 20ft radius spheres and 40ft x 40ft cubes. Anything larger is pretty easy to eyeball after that.
