Great little level! Rugged, but easy to bring along. Long enough for most measurements. The display is slightly tilted which makes it easy to read. Very bright and clear, even in full sun outside. Well recommended!

This appears to be very well made, high quality, nice choice of materials and finish. I appreciate the cover bag. Display is lit and very easy to read. I had no problem with calibration, as apparently one reviewer did. However-- note that the level calibrates to Zero at whatever angle the level is sitting during the cal process. It does NOT calibrate to absolute horizontal. So, if your "calibration" surface is off horizontal, the cal process sets that surface to Zero. The benefit of this is that whatever other surface you read produces an offset to the "calibration" surface (e.g., for cutting boards to fit accurately to both surfaces). I would prefer that the manufacturer called this process "Reference" rather than "Calibration", as the latter word strongly implies "with respect to a universal standard (i.e., local horizontal). But if you use the tool as the manufacturer intended I think you will be very pleased. Also note that the level includes bubble vials like those of a standard "dumb" level-- so you can detect if your reference surface is off level, regardless of how your level happens to be "calibrated". Good feature!

I am a longtime contractor and my eyes are failing me. I bought these for the digital readouts. I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality. The readouts are easy for me to see. No more trying to eyeball that bubble and saying to myself, "close enough!" It has several different readouts that come in handy depending on what you are building, leveling etc. The magnetic strip holds tight to metal beams and studs. The laser level is accurate. I often use my very expensive levels to check for accuracy of my digital levels and it is always spot on. The only drawback is that I probably spend to much time leveling. Because it has the digital readout, my "close enough" is not an option. Dammit, I know need to see that it is reading zero and hear that beep.

I wanted to use my level to hang blinds, but when I grabbed it I discovered that all the juice had run out of the sight glasses. Okay so it was a while since the last time I used it. Years? Anyway after searching through Amazon I came across this one and I liked the idea of the digital display, and almost all the reviews were positive, so I ordered it. I live about 8 miles from two very large Amazon fulfillment centers so the level showed up very quickly. First I like the bag idea as it keeps the dust from collecting on the level between infrequent uses. As for the batteries I recommend taking them out if you don't use it, or anything that takes batteries, frequently. When I first turned it on, I laid the level on a surface I knew to be level and it showed as much. I like the little image that indicates which side has to be lowered or raised to make the item level. I used the level to hang seven blinds throughout the house and I am very pleased with the precision and ease of use that this instrument provides. I realize that this level is not ADA compliant, but for home use, I couldn't have asked for more!

The level was inaccurate when measuring the Plumb(vertical) level of objects. Horizontal was good and even after a recalibration the vertical level measurement was not matching the bubble on one side. If you flipped the level around still vertical it would match. They should add a way to recalibrate horizontal and vertical measurements independently Had to return.

Because this level is so much more then just a regular spirit level. It for seniors or anyone with reduced sight. From a typical bubble, large digital feedback and a special tone that alerts you when level. Final thoughts, read the instructions and practice using each feature before starting your project. Have FUN!

It is so nice to go by a number rather than lining up a bubble that can be hard to see at times. I also like that it can be recalibrated if it gets bumped.
