Fantastic!
I'm testing different 3D organoid cell culture protocols and needed to take pictures of them, so I could compare them. When the organoids grew too big to use the regular microscope to take pictures with, I couldn't find an effective way of taking pictures in our dissecting microscope. iDu has been perfect for this purpose: image are clear, it allows for time lapse, it's easy to use and pretty solid. You can see the difference in the pictures without and with iDu!

Awesome addition to our veterinary clinic
Awesome for our veterinary practice. Awesome for social media, attaching photos to patients charts and for client education. Picture is of struvite crystals in a dog.

Excellent product!
As an academic pathologist who lectures and presents at several different tumor boards I needed a quick and easy way to shoot photomicrographs. The camera attached to my scope was no longer operational, and unlike many of our residents I really couldn't get the hang of handholding my iPhone by the microscope eyepiece. Someone told me about this adapter and ordered it the same day. Fabulous product and so very easy to use. While not inexpensive, the resolution is better than with my old camera and this adapter is way cheaper than getting a new camera that will work with my desktop computer.

Makes $10K microscope camera obsolete.
We use $10K cameras to photograph tissues using a compound microscope, and similarly priced cameras to photograph on our dissecting microscope stage. The iDu makes these cameras all but obsolete. I've tried less expensive versions of microscope adaptors that hold iPhones but they are useless; unless the adaptor exactly fits, the filming or photography is blurry. The iDu is composed of metal adaptor, which guarantees a perfect fit into the phototube of the microscope. Now my entire lab can capture movies or high quality images, simply using their iPhone and the iDu. I would highly recommend it for anyone who does digital microscopic photography or videography.

Getting the right size is a bit of a crapshoot
This is a great product. Easy to use and takes excellent images. The one huge problem is that you will be lucky if you get the size you order. I ordered the 6/6S before, and Amazon sent the 6 plus. Just ordered the 6/6S again for a colleague, and was sent the SE model (smaller than the 6S size). Part of the problem, I believe, is that the manufacturer does not indicate the size on the exterior of the box. So amazon employees will grab a random one off the shelf. Good luck to you!
